A car rental service is available at the lodge. Maria Hau was extremely friendly and the house is comfy and clean. Location is close to downtown and quiet at night. We accidentally left a water bottle on her car when she drove us to airport and she rushed to the airport and gave it back to us right before we were about to board - extremely helpful and we really appreciate the help!

Mataveri International Airport is 5 km from the property, and the property offers a free airport shuttle service. The property itself is excellent. However it desperately needs air con as u cook inside the pods. The fan was almost non existent in the brutal heat. The staff were excellent but u need translation as English is not spoken. Pick up and drop off to the airport was very welcome. If u want to be close to the action tho, it’s not for you. Half hour walk to town in the heat isn’t doable. You need a car or scooter. It’s off the beaten track. The pool is a bonus but if ur in Easter island surely u won’t be laying around a pool at any time

Everything was perfect, the room was clean and new, and very comfortable. Just a 5min walk from the airport (there's only a couple of flights per day, and only during daytime) and 15min from the main street. The shower was great, no issue with the wifi and Lanii our host took very good care of us. We would stay at the same place if we came back to Rapa Nui

Included pickup and drop off to the airport, helped us arrange all our tours, sent information about the trip ahead of time. Location was excellent, right off the Main Street and the beach/banks/car rentals. The cabins were clean, comfortable and included everything for a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the lodge. it’s in a garden near the airport ( but only 3-4 flights a week) and a 15-20 minute walk downtown the folks that run it are sweethearts they have rental cars so you don’t even have to leave the property for that…. and their jeeps are as cheap or cheaper than the places in town….
