We came by bus and enjoyed using the bikes to explore the area. (Bring your own bike lights!) We had the suite and loved the cosy kitchen as a place to be in the evening. Kitchen was very well equipped, it even had a teapot which we really appreciated! For the carless - local restaurant 'Selvin' is a few minutes walk away and is really good, but it is only open Thursday-Sunday. Other places you need to walk at least 1/2 hour or bike or TukTuk. Very lovely and helpful Nicole, the onsite manager, as well as the smiling gardener who brought us coconut water, grapefruits and bananas. Will carry on dreaming about this place and hope to return!

Absolutely beautiful. Our favourite stay so far. The site is phenomenal - we explored the grounds and loved the nature. The staff were amazing they went above and beyond. Cabin was beautiful and totally allowed disconnection from the world. Lovely breakfast - all fresh from the garden. We loved it.

Breakfast was always fresh, with delicious smoothies and crepes. All the staff members and owners were super nice and showed us attention. The villa was well equipped, comfortable and very clean.

It’s fabulous and wildlife is everywhere! Lots of lovely artistic touches around the house make it feel very special and the house has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Masai was on hand at all times to help with any requests we had and the fact that laundry was thrown in free was a massive bonus. All in all we had a really special time at Congo Bongo which we will remember forever.

The pool is also very nice as well as the beach just across the street - it has shade, more sloths and feels safe for kids. We would have happily spent more time there!
