We had a wonderful stay at Kubuhill Sunset Bungalow in Nusa Penida and can highly recommend it! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome. Renting a scooter directly at the accommodation was super easy, making it simple to explore the island at our own pace. We also loved the location: it’s just a short walk to Vegan Soul Kitchen, one of the best restaurants on Nusa Penida, and the sunsets from the bungalows are absolutely magical. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained — with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Thank you to the whole team — we’d love to come back!

Alaya Ecolodge está en Pemuteran y dispone de wifi gratis, piscina al aire libre, jardín y restaurante. Nos encantó la tranquilidad del lugar, las instalaciones con su particular decoración, y el trato con el personal. Pedimos alargar nuestra estancia allí porque estábamos muy a gusto. Ofrecen muchas actividades y tanto los dueños como el personal que trabaja allí hicieron lo posible porque estuviéramos bien. Además, el día del check out nos dejaron quedarnos más tiempo hasta que vinieran a buscarnos y lo agradecemos mucho.

This is a little piece of paradise in the jungle. Almost felt like being in an imaginary world. Great atmosphere, incredibly welcoming staff as always in Bali, beautiful pool, great spa experience, nice food choice. Loved the peace and quiet.

A real immersion in nature, a very calm and relaxing place to stay with a Balinese family. The hosts are lovely and cook very well with produce straight from their garden. They are very generous and welcoming. I really recommend this little hidden gem.

It’s a very peaceful place surrounded by rice fields. The jungle around is spectacular, with many geckos, fireflies, and cicadas that we could hear and observe. Dewi and her team were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. They were preparing for us delicious, homemade food each day and helped to organize jungle trekking with guide and local transportation. We also met many wonderful people during our stay. It felt as if all the guests were not strangers to one another, but good neighbors and companions. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. A huge recommendation for all nature lovers!

The babakan accommodations se encuentra a solo 31 km de Cascada de Tegenungan y ofrece alojamiento en Sidemen con jardín y terraza, además de servicio de habitaciones. special thanks to the friendly and lovely hosts we met - Gede, the dad, and uncle - during our 2 night stay. we booked 2 rooms side by side that opened into lush greenery and mount agung in the distance. rooms were big (great affect on wellbeing, surprisingly). very clean, no dust even on the ceiling fan and on the floor under the bed (something fell under the bed so i had a look). comfy bed. great sleep. breakfast is served around 8-9am and brought to your terrace. imagine sipping on coffee with a magnificent view in front of you. warm water may run out if you take long showers. soap, shampoo provided. no issues with wifi. aircon works in case it gets warm in the day. but with the chilly weather at night there was no need for aircon. hairdryer available. if you want to hire driver to bring you up to Besakih, you can ask Gede (host) who speaks both indo and english. he will bring there and wait for 1.5h until you are done. he brought us to a restaurant for lunch after - it had an amazing view of rice terraces! and then we swung by a mini mart for magnum ice cream afterwards as the day grew warmer. for dinner, i’d highly recommend Warung Ibu Ida which is 5 minutes walk away. managed by a lovely grandma who makes amazing home cooked dishes. amongst others, get the curry chicken (comes with rice), and u must try her pisang goreng for dessert.
