I was very impressed by the two owners, Arno and Angi, who were a wealth of information about the surrounding area but also incredibly welcoming - a trait extended to all the Rimba team. The main lounge area is quite something; a large wooden deck set in a beautiful bamboo and wood house, with an incredible view of the gardens and Lokon Volcanoe beyond. The food was outstanding, I particularly loved the Indonesian curry and satay dishes, just fabulous. Arno and Angi also took me and other guests to the local bar which played live music and it was great to get a feel for the local area. There are also bikes for rent and a range of outings for you to do, but also solo options. I'll definitely be doing a day package when I return! It's a home away from home, run by lovely human beings, supported by some wonderful pooches and cats, set amongst beautiful surroundings. Ten out of Ten.

We are vegetarian but we had wonderful meals they were varied and delicious. They asked us what we wanted providing it as close as requested.

Sun moon was a fabulous location not far from Bitung and right on the beach. The accommodation and communal spaces were of exceptional standard as was every meal. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming also great to spend time chatting with. Can’t recommend sunmoon enough and look forward to returning one day.,

To Pombero lodge είναι σε Tano, σε Wakatobi Regency, και διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. The location is extraordinary and truly special I think. Edi and his wife help with everything you need (e.g. scooter rental, pick up and drop off to harbour) but leave you alone for the rest of the time. If needed, they provide lunch and dinner as well which is very good and for a reasonable price. The bungalow itself is small but enough, with a bathroom and terrace. The eating area is very spacious. The location is hidden away on the coast and involves a very bumpy scooter ride and small and steep hike. We enjoyed our stay a lot and even extended another 3 nights.

Wonderful people who could not do enough to be helpful. We had a long stay and felt like family by the time we left. The Indonesian food in the restaurant is delicious and very reasonably priced. Complimentary coffee and tea are available all day with biscuits, krupuk and late-afternoon surprise snacks - a real plus when you have spent hours underwater. Comfortable loungers by the water and a large, cushioned balian for when it rains The diving from the hotel is world-class and our guide (Iwan) probably the best spotter I have ever dived with and really knows his macro photography. We were coming back with a lot of fabulous photos every day, many of species we had never seen before. The boats are comfortable and spacious, and as an older diver I felt well looked after, with lots of help gearing up and exiting the water. The dive sites are typically a 5-minute ride away, so there is often time to go back to your room and take a hot shower between dives. We hope to come back for more. Really appreciated the large number of plug sockets and USB points available in the room
