The bungalow was the cherry on the cake , it was just overlooking the jungle. I would like to say thanks to the kitchen staff for cooking us delicious food. Big praise to Robin for giving us the best entertainment and for welcoming us like family. I want to deeply emphasize that the tour guides engaged by this bungalow are professionals. Amir , our three day jungle tour guide gave us the best information and routes in the Jungle, we managed to see most of the animals that we dreamt of seeing! The food in the jungle was amazing ( thanks dian and hendra). Moreover , the night hike was phenomenal as well , it was conducted by Ipul the "Snake man", the legend himself ✌🏽✌🏽. Our stay at this hotel was a tranquil retreat, especially considering it wasn't peak season, and we were the only guests. The breakfast was simple but tasty, and the guides were awesome. If we had more time, we would've totally gone into the jungle for a two-day adventure. The staff was super friendly, and we loved being surrounded by nature. We even got to watch langurs up close by the riverbank, making our stay extra special. Overall, it was a laid-back and memorable experience.

We did the two days one night trekking with Jerry, Rudy & Abdi. The guides are very funny, knowledgeable about everything and Abdi’s food was amazing! The trekking was tough but we had so much fun and saw many orangutans and other animals. Unforgettable experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia! After the trekking we spent another night at the Garden Inn and did the village tour with Pindu, perfect way to learn more about the local community! He also let us make our own tempeh and gado gado, which was a lot of fun. If you are planning to visit Bukit Lawang, we would recommend to book everything with the Garden Inn team. Had an amazing time at lovely jungle lodge, Balu and his son Rifan will really look after you. The location of the lodge was great, away from the busy village and surrounded by the peaceful jungle. The best is falling asleep to the jungle sounds and being able to watch wild monkeys from the wooden huts. There's no electricity so make sure to charge all your devices beforehand. Highly recommend.

I stayed in one of the cabins and enjoyed the cleanliness, the hot water in the shower, the excellent WiFi, the exceptional view from the back porch, and the incredible hospitality of the whole family.

The room is nice and the environment is very peaceful. The food ia good. Tea and coffee served in the cafe is sooo good I forgot to ask and buy some to take home.
