GermanyWe were in the TEAL room which was exceptionally beautifully decorated. All in teal and gold. A real treat. It was very cozy with heavy curtains and carpet. The bed was large and soft but not too soft. The bathroom was very clean and had a large and modern shower. The cleaning during the day was thorough.
We felt very welcome and liked the location very much. It is right in the middle of town so everything was nearby.
We were there there on a Friday night and still the noise level from the pub underneath was no bother.

We stayed in the lodges which surprisingly were very spacious with private bathrooms in each bedroom and a spacious living room. There is rose gardens and a stream near the castle and lovely walks around the premises. We attended the spa for treatments and they were excellent and staff were very accommodating. Food was tasty and good service.
