Kandalama Lodge is a delightful boutique hotel and is even better than the photos. So happy we decided to stay for 4 days (we had considered Jetwing Lake and the Heritance) as the hotel is absolutely perfect. My husband and I stayed in the casita with the pool while our daughters were in a two bed room. The rooms and bathrooms are immaculate — the outdoor bathroom exceeded expectations with high end fixtures and no critters even in the middle of the night. We had all meals at the property and the chefs deliver on both Sri Lankan and western food. Super fast wi-fi in the rooms and on the property. The pool and gardens create a relaxing vibe. Wedge, the owner, could not have been a more gracious and helpful host. He and the team arranged transport and local outings to Sigiriya, Minneriya, Dambulla and a spa for massages. Help was always available, if needed. Truly a wonderful place!

Todos y cada uno de ellos son un encanto. Es un sitio increíble si te gusta estar en contacto con la naturaleza, te despiertas con el ruido de los monos y de los pájaros. La habitación era muy amplia, limpia y cómoda, disponía de aire acondicionado, secador de pelo y nevera Se puede comer y cenar allí, está todo INCREIBLE, hecho en el momento.

Probably one of the best place that I stayed since I arrived to Sri Lanka, Calm and serenity down here, a beautiful garden with a lot of trees, flowers and shade, and a lovely family taking care of you at any time. Nice View Lodge se encuentra en Sigiriya, a 2,3 km de Yacimiento arqueológico de Sigiriya y a 5,5 km de Pidurangala Rock, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, jardín y terraza. The host was exceptional, making me feel right at home and going out of his way to help with everything, from organizing attractions and tuktuk to go around Sigiriya to helping me when I needed. His care and dedication made all the difference. The room was nice, spotless and had everything I needed, offering both comfort and practicality. Breakfast was a daily delight, with homemade local dishes that were not only delicious but also varied and thoughtfully prepared. The garden was a peaceful oasis, full of life with birds enjoying fruits – such a calm and relaxing scenery. And the view of Lion Rock? Simply beautiful with the rice fields around. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay – everything was perfect, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone!

Friendly attentive hosts, proper chilled atmosphere and the food was tasty! Would definitely recommend it. Pool is glorious after walking up a 1000 steps too.

Muy bien situado para visitar las principales atracciones de la zona, el bus para justo delante de la puerta para ir a Kandy, Sigiriya o Polonaruwa. El desayuno y la cena están muy bien y la familia que gestiona la casa son encantadores y nos ayudaron con todo lo que necesitamos (traslado aeropuerto, tuk-tuk, autobuses…). Nos gustó todo.

Everything was perfect—cozy and felt just like home. The breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. Anil and his family were incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. The warm atmosphere and their genuine care made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Honestly can't recommend Sigiriya Lake Paradise enough! Stayed here for 5 nights and it felt like home. The location is stunning literally on a lake with a view of Lion's Rock. Chami and the family are super friendly and helpful, they even came with me on some day trips and made sure I was sorted with everything. And the food Absolutely delicious.If you're heading to Sigiriya, definitely book in here. You won't regret it.
