This is such a charming, cozy hotel with only 6 rooms, which makes the whole stay feel almost private and exclusive. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The hotel is right in front of the beach, and the beachfront area is clean, well maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The staff — including the manager — are incredibly friendly, always smiling, and genuinely helpful. They truly go above and beyond for any request. They even prepared a breakfast box for us on the morning we left early for whale watching, which was so thoughtful. Breakfast at the hotel was also delicious: fresh fruits, tea/coffee, and a great selection of dishes. We had dinner one night as well — the seafood platter was super tasty! A lovely stay — highly recommended! 🐬✨

Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort está en Deniyaya y dispone de wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y restaurante. Todo espectacular. Estás inmerso en la naturaleza te quedas dormido con el sonido exterior. Habitaciones amplias y cómodas Tienen restaurante para cenar, donde comí el mejor curry de todo el viaje. Sabroso y abundante. Desayuno rico, ideal para el hike de la mañana. Te gestionan la visita guíada, que es muy completa e interesante.

Natural Mystic Sanctuary está en Deniyaya y dispone de vistas a la montaña, piscina de temporada al aire libre, jardín, terraza y restaurante. Hay wifi gratis. Me enamoré de este lugar, para mi, que me gusta la naturaleza, el más auténtico y agradable de los que estuve. Si algún día regreso a Sri Lanka será para volver a la Reserva forestal de Sinharaja y hospedarme en este maravilloso santuario. Los anfitriones y el staff muy agradables, la comida muy buena, la casita enorme y el guía que nos aconsejaron para realizar el tour, maravilloso. Les deseo lo mejor a Karina y resto del equipo.

Hiriketiya Suka Place tiene vistas al jardín y está en Hiriketiya. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de habitaciones, bar, jardín y terraza. The location was perfect—just a five-minute walk to the beach, yet backing onto the jungle, which made it beautifully peaceful. The bed was very comfortable, and I loved spending time on the balcony watching and listening to the resident wildlife. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

This is the perfect place if you want something quiet and relaxed. It’s placed in the most amazing nature, with a good chance of seeing wild animals :))) With a scooter it’s only 5-10 minutes from the beach and Weligama and mirissa The rooms are so nice and clean with good ac :)) The hosts offer to make both breakfast, lunch and dinner for you, with a small cost Overall amazing place to stay :))))

Lunuvila Resort Hiriketiya Dikwella dispone de vistas al jardín, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Se encuentra en Dikwella, a 9 min a pie de Playa de Dickwella. We like the place a lot, it's new and more villas are still being built. Have a small patio to eat breakfast in the morning. The villa is a bit dim but gives a cosy atmosphere. Also it has warm water heater! The owner though is the best part. He is so genuine and friendly, tries to help and cooks really good traditional breakfast. We got unlucky with the weather and it rained a lot, so he offered us a ride to the center so we could get dinner. He also arranged a scooter for us and dropped us off at the bus stop, one of the best hosts we ever had! Location is close to Hiriketiya restaurants and shops, 10min walk away.

Subodinee Bungalow está en Weligama y ofrece vistas al jardín, piscina al aire libre, jardín, terraza y restaurante. En el lodge, tanto el wifi como el parking privado son gratis. Everything! The garden, the bungalow with it’s private space outside to chill, the common areas where people got together to drink, eat or just chat… It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and literally 30 seconds from awesome coffe shops and restaurants. The hosting family is kind and will help you with anything you need. I had the chance to know more about them and how midigama has evolved in the past 40 years. It was really interesting and they are the sweetest people. Also, 2 great surfing spots just a few minutes walk from the bungalows. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything!

Location and hospitality of the workers is beyond exceptional. You cannot beat the views, and waking up to the beautiful jungle and forest right from your bedroom, or the dreamy fireflies at night from the balcony. Their home kitchen menu is superb, made fresh to order, and super tasty. We had delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options all tasty and satisfying. The owners also connected us with a great hiking guide in the Sinharaja forest who pointed out rare species, took us to waterfalls, and even prepped us so we would not get leeches on our shoes. This location is absolutely the best and we would come back again! 100% recommend to anyone considering visiting the Sinharaja forest. They are family owned, and extremely kind people.

The Whitegates Lodge se encuentra en Weligama, en la región de Distrito de Matara, cerca de Playa Midigama. The room was lovely, a good size and very clean. The bathroom was modern and spotless. There was a shared kitchen which had all the basic cooking utensils. Breakfast was delicious and varied day to day, including a hot breakfast and fruits. The lodge is across the road from a very nice swimming bay and is also a short distance from surf spots and trendy cafes. Excellent hosts. Good value for money.
