Cleanliness & Accommodation: The accommodation was spotless and well-maintained. Our spacious room had excellent air conditioning, a large balcony with breathtaking views, and high water pressure in the shower—every detail was well taken care of for maximum comfort. Staff & Service: The service was outstanding, and Leel, in particular, made our stay even more memorable. He took our food preferences into account, and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks to him, we had the incredible opportunity to witness turtles coming ashore to lay eggs and later saw baby turtles being released from a nearby hatchery. His kindness and attention to detail truly stood out. Food: Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, with generous portions. The chef engaging, frequently checking in to ensure we were happy with our meals. We even received complimentary desserts, making our dining experience even more special. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. A special thanks to Leel and the entire team for making our experience so special. Highly recommended!

Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort está en Deniyaya y dispone de wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y restaurante. We had an incredible 3d2n stay at Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort. Even before our stay, Janith and Manisha went above and beyond to make our trip to Sri Lanka enjoyable. The drive we had originally booked cancelled last minute, and they were able to quickly arrange transport for us from Colombo to the resort and even for the subsequent week of our trip. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, both the structures and the surrounding areas, which includes a path to a waterfall and gorgeous views of the rainforest. We ate each meal here and loved every single bite - the coconut sambal was some of the best in the world. For those with smaller stomachs, the portions are huge so it’s best to split a plate so as to avoid food waste. We originally booked the triple room with a view but when we saw the Superior Family Room, we immediately upgrades because it’s essentially a glass treehouse immersed in the jungle. We also booked a jungle tour through the resort and our guide Kumar took us on an incredible all day journey through a tea plantation to a rainforest, where we explored waterfalls and learned about the local flora. We are traveling through Sri Lanka for a few weeks and really this has been one of the highlights of our trip because of beautiful location, delicious food, the wonderful memories made on the jungle tour, and most importantly the compassion and kindness that were shown to us at every minute by Janith and Manisha. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Me enamoré de este lugar, para mi, que me gusta la naturaleza, el más auténtico y agradable de los que estuve. Si algún día regreso a Sri Lanka será para volver a la Reserva forestal de Sinharaja y hospedarme en este maravilloso santuario. Los anfitriones y el staff muy agradables, la comida muy buena, la casita enorme y el guía que nos aconsejaron para realizar el tour, maravilloso. Les deseo lo mejor a Karina y resto del equipo.

Wonderful place close to the beach, but still quiet and secluded. The hosts are super nice and helpful. Several bungalows are hidden in green, vast area so you feel isolated from other guests. The pool is great :). Breakfasts are diversified, so every day you can try different meal. Walking distance, 3 min., to Midigama center. We will most ceirtainly come back!

The Whitegates Lodge se encuentra en Weligama, en la región de Distrito de Matara, cerca de Playa Midigama. The room was lovely, a good size and very clean. The bathroom was modern and spotless. There was a shared kitchen which had all the basic cooking utensils. Breakfast was delicious and varied day to day, including a hot breakfast and fruits. The lodge is across the road from a very nice swimming bay and is also a short distance from surf spots and trendy cafes. Excellent hosts. Good value for money.

It was so nice waking up and enjoying the views with a yummy breakfast. Short distance from town. Can hire tuk tuk or rent a bike from here.
