Comfortable, clean, modern rooms, a wonderful river to dip into, the most delicious dinner and a truly beautiful setting. The staff were also exceptional! Can not fault a thing.

To Wadula Safari - Yala είναι σε Kataragama, σε Monaragala District και σε κοντινή απόσταση από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Ναός Kataragama. Η τοποθεσία αν και είναι δύσκολα προσβάσιμη (βέβαια έρχεται ο ιδιοκτήτης με το safari jeep για την παραλαβή την μέρα του check-in και την επιστροφή κατά το checkout ) βρίσκεται σε εκπληκτικό-μοναδικό σημείο. Το φαγητό αν και είναι vegan (εννοείται ότι μας είχαν ενημερώσει νωρίτερα) είναι πολύ νόστιμο και χορταστικό, το προτείνω. Το προσωπικό είναι πολύ βοηθητικό και φιλικό. Κάνουν τα πάντα για να έχεις μια τέλεια και ευχάριστη διαμονή.

We had an exceptional stay at Tranquil Wild. The room was spotlessly clean, and the furniture was tastefully decorated. We were given a free room upgrade. The property's beautiful lake in front added to its charm. The Western and Sri Lankan food we enjoyed during our stay was outstanding. The owner of the property is very kind and personally ensures that guests are comfortable. She helped us book a Yala safari with a professional naturalist. We will definitely return. This property is a gem, and with the first-class service of the staff, there's no need to look further. We highly recommend staying at this property if you plan to visit Block 5 in Yala, as it is closer to Block 5.

This was the best hospitality we received in Sri Lanka. It is a lovely family business, located in nature and very close to the famous Budurugawala rock carvings. Shalika and his family are perfect hosts. The cabin is great and the environment is very peaceful. The beds were really comfortable and super clean. The food they served is amazing and they the ingredients are harvested by the hosts. It was an amazing experience. They also provide transportation service. Highly recommended!

Το Glimra eco lodge διαθέτει μπαλκόνι και βρίσκεται σε Hambegamuwa σε Monaragala District. I traveled to this lodge alone and felt the entire time like I was visiting family. Roshani was so attentive, thorough and communicative. She not only provided accommodations but invited me on various cultural experiences so I could get a first hand experience. I highly recommend staying here!

My favourite days in Sri Lanka. Peace, nature and a generous and warm host. The safari Prasad arranged was perfect - lots of elephants, a beautiful lotus lake, black- faced monkeys, lots of birds and only 3 other jeeps in the 4.5 hours. The rooms are clean, with a hammock next to a little stream, iguanas, peacocks, monkeys and eagles in the garden. Prasad's mum's coconut rotis are the best I had in my 3 weeks and the room and safari were great value. Thanamalwila has few tourists so unspoilt and the family will help with everything from bus bookings, travel advice to taking me to see a friends farm to see crops growing. The buses from Ella and Galle stop directly outside the homestay so it's really easy to get to. The safari is in Blocks 5 and 6 of Yala. If you want a peaceful safari then I highly recommend Prasad's place.

The resort staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also found the location to be absolutely superb, offering convenient access to everything I needed. The facilities at the resort were also top-notch.

Το WildEscape, Yala Blocks 3 & 5 προσφέρει καταλύματα με εστιατόριο, δωρεάν ποδήλατα, κήπο και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, ενώ το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Tissa Wewa απέχει 5,3 χλμ. This place is the definition of a getaway. truly remote. Never thought I'd experience this side of Sri Lanka on this holiday. Very nature based, local food, got to speak to the people in the villages on how they cultivate their crops, went on a very scenic bike ride with friends in the evening with the best views. The RIVER! wow loved every bit of it. We spent around 3 hours here and had a final dip before leaving the next day too. The water flowing over the shoulders felt like a free spa treatment.
