The son of the owner (25) is amazing and played games with us in the evening. We went to the waterfall the day after and he joined us there which was great fun! Helpful people, good breakfast and dinner. Amazing green area.

To Wadula Safari - Yala είναι σε Kataragama, σε Monaragala District και σε κοντινή απόσταση από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Ναός Kataragama. Η τοποθεσία αν και είναι δύσκολα προσβάσιμη (βέβαια έρχεται ο ιδιοκτήτης με το safari jeep για την παραλαβή την μέρα του check-in και την επιστροφή κατά το checkout ) βρίσκεται σε εκπληκτικό-μοναδικό σημείο. Το φαγητό αν και είναι vegan (εννοείται ότι μας είχαν ενημερώσει νωρίτερα) είναι πολύ νόστιμο και χορταστικό, το προτείνω. Το προσωπικό είναι πολύ βοηθητικό και φιλικό. Κάνουν τα πάντα για να έχεις μια τέλεια και ευχάριστη διαμονή.

Σε απόσταση 37 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Εθνικό Πάρκο Udawalawe, το Tranquil Wild παρέχει καταλύματα με εξωτερική πισίνα, κήπο και υπηρεσία δωματίου για την άνεσή σας. Tranquil wild lived up to its name. It is right next to a lake with water buffalo in it. There are heaps of birds including peacocks and hornbills in the garden plus lots of monkeys, squirrels and lizards around. The garden is huge with mature trees and plenty of space. You can walk beside the lake and do a little exploring, really nice at sun rise or sunset. The swimming pool was excellent for a bit of relaxing. Anne and Amal were fantastic hosts answering all our questions and organizing our safari and other activities. I recommend having Amal on your safari. He is full of info and has a big camera lens to get those close ups the cellphones can't do. Their safaris go into block 5 and 6 which are a lot quieter ( in terms of jeep numbers) than the main Yala block 1. We saw elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, lots of birds, and 2 leopards. Also if you have the chance to have dinner and bonfire down by the lake shore then do it, we got lucky with a stunning night and full moon rising. The food, including breakfast was really good. If you are looking for somewhere to relax with nature then this is it.

Roshani was so attentive, thorough and communicative. She not only provided accommodations but invited me on various cultural experiences so I could get a first hand experience. I highly recommend staying here!

Best homestay I’ve stayed in during my 3 months of SE Asia travel. Location was ideal, activities were unbelievable, and the most hospitable hosts imaginable. I will be telling all of my fellow travelers to stay here for a long time to come. Make sure to book their safari. We were lucky enough to have a leopard walk 10ft in front of us and watch a baby elephant and its mom. Although, it still would have been beautiful without seeing any animals. The host mother made us the best curry spread we will probably ever eat for as long as we live.

Really, this place is very beautiful, and no matter how hot it was, it didn't feel like it inside this room. Here is a place of amazing beauty combined with a real jungle-like environment. I highly recommend this place to anyone. This is the place that provided the best service at the lowest price among the places I have visited in Sri Lanka. The staff was very close to us and provided good service. I highly recommend it as the only place that gave the best service for the lowest price.

Το WildEscape, Yala Blocks 3 & 5 προσφέρει καταλύματα με εστιατόριο, δωρεάν ποδήλατα, κήπο και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, ενώ το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Tissa Wewa απέχει 5,3 χλμ. Wow. Did not expect rooms of this quality! Very large farm land with few cabanas spread out. Feels like a mini village. Highlight was the fresh river and river deck which I spent most my time reading. This place opened up a different side to me. Food was all local and healthy. Amazing cycling experience around the village and local lake in the morning followed by a kanda (Herbal Juice with solid honey) in the morning and a river bath will now be my epitome of happiness.
