Located in Mantanani Island, GreenHouse Lodge provides accommodation with access to a garden. The property boasts reusable plastic materials, using energy-saving lighting and conserving rainwater. The best stay I’ve had in years! 🏝️This is truly a relaxing Island experience and an opportunity for you to unwind in a secluded location. Thank you Sook Peng and Fred for helping my stay feels like home! They have arranged the transfer quite seamlessly, I got picked up from the hotel early morning to the pier and then to the island. The view is truly amazing as the lodge is right in front of the sea. They have everything you need for this Island: kayaks, snorkel masks, beach mats and coconuts (and beer which is a rare commodity in the island)! Thank you Sook Peng for the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s wonderful to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the sea. I also get to taste some delicious farm-to-table vegetables they’ve grown from their aquaponics farm ♥️ I’ve enjoyed my time on the island, there’s a dive centre 5-min walk from the lodge and it’s convenient if you’d like to join a dive or two. My room is right in front of the sea with a little garden, sun lounge area and a private entrance to the beach. You’re surrounded by nature and animals, I’ve seen cats, cows, tree frogs, big green turtles and more. Just be prepared for mosquitos at night, you can spray the room before you leave for dinner, I’ve also bought a “Deep Woods” repellent and some repellent wristbands which comes in quite handy. There’s no aircon in the room but the island breeze does help, the room is well-ventilated and there’s a fan and cooling machine in the room. Truly an amazing getaway, I must come back again!

Didn’t expect the room come with little pantry with ricecooker, water kettle, and stove to cook. Plates, cups and utensil for cooking also provided. But they only allow Halal food ya. There is fridge also. Room is very clean and love the sweet pink color room😆 pool is not too deep and have lovely warm temperature. This place is well maintain.

The owners do everything to make you feel at home, nothing is to much. The owner organized a snorkeling trip, he showed us the most beautiful spots. We saw turtles and the coral was so beautiful. The food was delicious, I recommend it to vegetarians.👌 The owners did so much for us, we just can not explain how much! We became totally zen and enjoyed being away from al the stress. Thank you for this amazing experience!!!

Βρίσκεται στην κορυφή ενός λόφου 100μ. με θέα στο δάσος Kinabatangan, Το Last Frontier Boutique Resort βρίσκεται στο Bilit και απέχει 2 ώρες με το αυτοκίνητο από το όμορφο Sandakan. I cannot rate this place highly enough. Firstly the staff were the nicest bunch of people, who genuinely care that the guests have a great trip, and are passionate about the environment and the wildlife. Secondly, this is the only place in the area actually inside the jungle, rather than on the river. And that matters because you're much more likely to see an Orang utan in the wild staying here. We were lucky enough to see one, and the guys running the place were overjoyed for us. It was a truly breathtaking moment. And we saw monitor lizards and Hornbills causally wandering/ flying around. The guys running the place could not do enough for us. Also the food was great, and included. Travel is quite a hobby for me, I have been travelling the world regularly for over 30 years now and I have stayed in a lot of places, from luxury hotels to eco-resorts etc. This rates as high as any experience I have had anywhere. I wish there were more places run this well and with this much passion in the world.

It's very nice and comfortable lodge especially the room with balcony. It's beyond my expectations. Very clean and tidy room. The toilet is also very clean, shower and heater works properly and great. The view from this lodge is very amazing although mount Kinabalu is not at our side but the view is still very nice and amazing. Overall, Bayu Senja Lodge ( especially the room with balcony ) is very nice, good and comfortable to stay. The management should build more room like this in the future. Once the lodge canteen starts operating, the lodge has become much better place to choose for staying.

To Borneo Jungle Adventure είναι σε Kinabatangan, σε Sabah, και διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. We came to see Orang Utangs in the wild, wishing not to disturb them in their homes and approach passively. We got so much more. This camp is privately run by someone who keeps it natural rainforest and doesn't sell to someone making a palm oil farm from it. The people in this camp TRULY care about the rainforest, the animals, and their visitors. Main woman Linda makes sure you have absolutely everything you need at all times. Of course, you are in the middle of the jungle, so wifi only in the common area (but there is wifi in the middle of the jungle!) and there is no jaccuzi. But once you're over that it is 100% perfection! A true rural jungle experience! We stayed 3 nights and already saw the big 5 the second day! Food was plenty, very very delicious with seafood and meat/ chicken/ and really exciting vegetarian options too! Timings: Arrival day - 1pm lunch, 4pm 2h boat tour on river, 7pm dinner Typical day - 6:30am 2h boat tour, then breakfast, 1pm lunch, 4pm boat tour, 7pm dinner Check out day - 6:30am boat tour, breakfast, 10am check out and boat + bus to airport (takes ca. 2h) Top tip: if you love sweeties like me, bring some buscuits / chocolate / oreos

To Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort βρίσκεται σε Sepilok, σε Sabah, και προσφέρει καταλύματα με δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, καθώς και πρόσβαση σε υδρομασάζ. Really amazing place to stay near all of the sights in Sepilok. I chose to walk everywhere and it seemed to be in a pretty central location. Food was tasty and staff was friendly.

We had an amazing stay at maglami, the location and facilities are just amazing and not turistic at all. The staff is really kind and helpful, the food is good and the vibe with the other is simply magic!

Το Tampat do Aman παρέχει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi, κήπο με βεράντα και θέα στη λίμνη. Howard was so passionate and informative, he went above and beyond to make this a great stay for us. Nothing was too much trouble and his family were so welcoming and hospitable. The lodges are a great location in the jungle, but also a 25 minute walk to the beach. It's an interesting but also peaceful environment to spend a few days exploring the area. The beach walk recommend by Howard was amazing, it's like paradise!
