The lodge is impressively clean, well-maintained, and full of character. The rooms are spacious, freshly renovated, and each comes with its own private bathroom. We stayed in the Double Room, which was very comfortable and equipped with a fan—perfect for keeping cool at night. All the essentials are available on-site, including kayak and snorkeling gear rentals, which made exploring the area super convenient. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. Sook Peng, Fred’s wife, is not only an incredible cook but also a truly warm and welcoming person. Sharing meals with her was a joy, and her cooking made every meal memorable. There are also cozy hammocks for relaxing, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind. We couldn't recommend this place more highly—it's a rare gem built with heart and purpose. Oh, I was almost forgetting, both land and transport are organized by the Fred and Sook Peng and everything went super smooth! Terima kasih Fred and Sook Peng!

Hawun Valley Kiulu features a hot tub and air-conditioned guest accommodation in Tamparuli, 39 km from Filipino Market Sabah, 34 km from Likas City Mosque and 39 km from Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village.

Asian and halal breakfast options are available at the lodge. At Hawun Valley Kiulu you will find a restaurant serving Asian cuisine. A halal option can also be requested. Didn’t expect the room come with little pantry with ricecooker, water kettle, and stove to cook. Plates, cups and utensil for cooking also provided. But they only allow Halal food ya. There is fridge also. Room is very clean and love the sweet pink color room😆 pool is not too deep and have lovely warm temperature. This place is well maintain.

This property features rooms that provide towels and bed linen. The en suite bathroom comes with free toiletries. What a find! Our stay was just brilliant. A really personalised experience, the food was incredible and all activities were in small groups. We had several different dietary requirements within our group and they catered to this extremely well - lots of variety but each meal was equally delicious! Jason provided the best hospitality we’ve had in 5 months in Asia. For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. staffs and owner are super kind, helpful and accomodating. The place has a great view and cosy. Best parts staffs were swift and efficient to help out when in need.

At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving Chinese, Malaysian and Grill BBQ cuisine. Vegetarian and halal options can also be requested. Everything was amazing and fun. Plenty of food, great guides and friendly staff. You can’t go wrong with Khai as your guide, he is so knowledgeable and fun. Grace is a wonderful receptionist and Dinki is a fabulous cook. They all went out of their way to ensure that we had a wonderful four days in the jungle. We did fine without any Air Conditioning.

The breakfast offers buffet, à la carte or American options. At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving Steakhouse, local and Asian cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. Very nice hotel In the jungle! Nice, clean pool,very friendly staff,big and clean rooms.

Kota Kinabalu International Airport is 98 km from the property. Amazingly friendly and helpful host! Stunning view at mount Kinabalu. Big appartment. Clean.

Some accommodation includes a terrace with mountain views, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with bidet. This place had a beautiful view of Mt. Kinabatangan and the owners were really nice.

Featuring sea views, Maglami-lami Water House in Semporna features accommodation and a restaurant.

There is a private bathroom with bidet in all units, along with free toiletries and slippers.

The lodge offers a sun terrace. The accommodation was much better than what l expected, except the room. The view under the sunshine was fantastic, it's suitable for photography lovers very much. Besides, the food taste was also good even though the variety was not much. However, the most worthy to be recommended was the activities offered by Waterhouse. All the guides are so friendly and helpful, so we can easily enjoy each tour : )

Located in Kudat, Tampat do Aman provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant.

If you would like to discover the area, hiking is possible in the surroundings and the lodge can arrange a car rental service. We had a wonderful stay at Tampat do Aman- Howard was so friendly and helpful, he showed us around and gave us recommendations what to do and where to eat( Inas café is really good). He cares about the local culture and environment and there is also a little museum about the people there( the Rungus) and their culture. We overall can really recommend staying there!
