The family was just lovely and we felt like home from the beginning!
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The kitchen is big and you're always welcome to use everything. The view from the balcony was stunning!
You can rent surfboards from the host and walk down to the beach and surf just 5 minutes from home :-)
It's a beautiful walk on the beach to go to town. It just takes about 20 minutes. If you don't want to walk they are always willing to give you a ride.
We loved it so much that we endet up staying 10 days!

I stayed in the 8 person dorm. The room is amazing. Very spacious (the size of 4 standard bedrooms). They give you a very large locker and the beds are hand crafted, they look great. The cleaning ladies are so friendly, they brought us mangos from their garden and helped me a stain out my shorts. They are so nice.
It’s an easy walk to the beach meaning you feel secluded but everything is accessible at the same time. The communal kitchen is large and has everything you need. There is a hammock area too.

We love the owners/host of the lodge, Meredith and Jonathan, the location, the view. This beautiful lodge gives you the feeling of comfort and chill/relax. With lots of common/shared space to hang out and the kitchen with all you need to prepared your meals… simply lovely. Rooms are comfy, clean and spacious …super for us 2😍😍

I stayed two nights in the Eco Venao Lodge. Right at the beginning there was a very friendly reception. They showed me also other rooms for rent in this lodge, but I stayed with the casita I had booked. The casita in the forest was a really great experience: view from the terrasse and windows into the forest. The room was perfectly clean and everything worked. The WiFi was fast.
