The Host (Ricky) will go out of his way to make you as comfortable as possible. The location is great, about a 15 minute walk to the square and is also situated next to the lookout trail. highly recommend staying here and being part of the growth of this place.

The huts are so cute and comfortable and the owner was amazing and made us feel very welcome! We were invited to a pizza evening, breakfast was served outside in the beautiful garden and we loved spending time with all the lovely dogs and cats. I would absolutely recommend this place for animal lovers!

Ricky is hands down the best host I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel welcome and at home. The facilities are excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The shower had reliably hot water (a big plus!), and both breakfast and dinner were delicious and satisfying every day. You can feel the care and love Ricky puts into everything he does. His two friendly dogs and super cuddly cat made the place feel even more like home. I can’t recommend staying here enough—thank you for everything, Ricky!

Mirador Willcacocha lodge - Glamping - Camping está en Huaraz y dispone de vistas a la montaña, jardín, terraza y bar. Hay una cocina totalmente equipada y un baño compartido. El lugar es maravilloso, si bien es cierto están en proceso de implementación, pero todo nos pareció execelente, personal amable, camas cómodas, una vista privilegiada. Pedimos que nos instalen nuestra tienda cerca a la laguna y lo hicieron sin ningún problema.

Bely and Jorge were amazing hosts! They have a beautiful and private piece of paradise. They were so kind and welcoming - and lots of fun to karaoke with! The food, handcrafted beer, pool, and room were exceptional. Bely was so kind to arrange taxis for hiking, helped us with our laundry, and taught us some Spanish! They have two very cute and friendly dogs (and a cat). Their place is located in a quiet neighbourhood with a river nearby, and is just a short 30m walk to the town centre. Highly recommend staying here!

El The Lazy Dog Inn, situado a 7 km de Huaraz y a 3.650 metros sobre el nivel del mar, ofrece solárium y vistas a la montaña. Casi todos los alojamientos tienen balcón y/o patio. The Lazy Dog inn is a wonderfully run eco lodge above Huarez and very close to many wonderful hikes. The owners have done a fantastic job of integrating their lodge into the local environment and economy. The staff were all fantastic-especially the women working the kitchen-meals were superb made with fresh grown crops from the green houses onsite. Wayne was a wealth of information and a pleasure to talk with after a day in the mountains. I cannot recommend this place enough!
