This stay was a great experience! Richkard was a really welcoming host, that informed is about the area, about the history of the place - and we were treated with homemade muffins. Would very much recommend!

Located in Jerfojaur in the Norrbotten region, Myrkulla Lodge provides accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a sauna.

There is a terrace and a barbecue at this property and guests can go hiking and skiing nearby. Spectacular views and the fact the cabin is located near the national park, where you can see and encounter wild animals. During our stay, we encountered reminders on 3 different occasions, but foxes were also common.

Featuring lake views, Arctic Gourmet Cabin in Kiruna features accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Rooms at Abisko Mountain Lodge include free WiFi and a private bathroom with shower. Cottages feature a kitchenette and private toilet. The shared shower facilities are located in the sauna and relaxation area, 30 metres from the cottages. Everything, very cosy. As described.

Reindeer Lodge features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 23 km of Kiruna Train Station and 20 km of Kiruna Bus Station.

Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at the lodge. A traditional complex in a sami family with all facilities surrounded by forest and reindears plus a moose who visited us one evening. Bonus the nice sauna and the tent for breakfast, the big fire and off course the aurora. What do you need more? Thank you again to all the team!

Set in Jukkasjärvi, 23 km from Kiruna Train Station and 21 km from Kiruna Bus Station, Camp Caroli Wooden Cabins offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and garden views.

The lodge features a barbecue. Really nice experience. The host Stefan is the best. He is very helpful. We will be back soon. The location is perfect for exploring the northern part of Norrbotten (Swedish Lapland). We went to Abisko (twice), Nikkaluokta, Kebnekaise, Jokkmokk, Karesuando, Kaaresuvanto (Finland) and Narvik (Norway) - and other places. We really enjoyed the midnight-sun experience that you can get above the polar circle at summertime.

Aurora Camp Kurravaara offers a range of accommodation from simple cabins and cottages without running water, to unique glass huts and private fully equipped cabins. In the summer Aurora Camp Kurravaara also offers tree tents. Bed linen and towels are always included. One of the best places we've ever stayed. Main disclaimer is you absolutely need a car to stay here. If you are not renting a car, stay closer to town. We had a car and intentionally booked a place outside of town that would give us greater visibility of the aurora. The location of this property is unlike any other. You can go on hikes to see the lights at all hours of the night and you get 360 degree views of the sky if you walk out onto the lake. The wilderness left cabin was equipped with everything we could ever need. Warm, comfortable beds, great shower facility and best of all was our private sauna. The staff was extremely helpful when we struggled making a fire for the sauna. I would recommend this property to anyone and hope to return someday!
