The lady at Reception and the restaurant staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
When we arrived there was a function close to the room we had booked and they offered to book us into another one further from where the noise would be. Appreciated this gesture.
My son was picky with his breakfast and even though it was an A'la carte they were so accomodating and allowed him to change and add extras at no extra charge.
What a delightful stay!

Host CJ is friendly and gladly shares his vast knowledge of his property's fascinating history. The view of Sounds in Silence is gorgeous and the aura peaceful. The bedroom we stayed in was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The private bathroom is spacious and spotless. My daughter and I loved our short stay, as did our spaniel.

This lodge is situated in such a beautiful spot and the cabins are cozy and perfect for time away to relax. The food is HALAAL , the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is excellent. There's horses , camels and ponies , and they have a pool , trampoline and a lake (fresh water fishing also). Overall we loved our experience and would definitely recommend to everyone.

Winnie was so welcoming and the staff so friendly and super efficiant. The 4 bed house was well equiped for a large family. The establishment is set on a stud farm - so quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. set about 22 kms from Nottingham Road.

Such a lovely gem on a beautiful farm. The owners are such good people. We had car trouble on the way there and Jenny didn't hesitate to offer us assistance in driving us 40mins to the nearest car hire company. They really did go above and beyond to make us comfortable, even through such a stressful event. The farm and units are clean, comfortable and very well equipped. I would definitely go back anytime.
The estate was breathtaking when we drove in, I was in awe, so my expectations were high for the house (Mooi Lodge) we rented. The host Desi, did go out of her way to courier my glasses back to me in Pretoria which I do appreciate.

A bird watchers paradise. Waking up to the multitude of bird song, the sunrise in the distance and buck walking through the veld beyond the house perimeter was peaceful and beautiful. The lodge we stayed in was lovely, clean, equipped with tea, coffee and some welcome biscuits, as well as wood for a fire. The gas stove and lanterns welcome in load shedding. The complimentary daily breakfast cannot be faulted, nor the amazing and friendly staff. The place was overall calming and exactly what we were looking for to unwind.

All the positive reviews and the photos about this little gem are but a small drop in the bucket of the true beauty it encompasses. Not only are the views at the lodge absolutely breathtaking, but you also get to enjoy these views up close and personal of the beautiful surrounds during your drive in, which helps to take the focus off of the somewhat challenging dirt road at times (for smaller cars). The cabin is comfy and you feel at home the moment that you enter it. Our four-legged baby enjoyed the stay as much as we did.
