During our trip on the Garden Route, we wanted to go sharkdiving, so we intended to pass by Hermanus. However, upon finding Benguela on Booking, we decided to pass by Gansbaai instead. What a great choice that was! We could book a sharkdiving experience via a recommendation of the hotel and had a wonderful stay too: (i) our room had a pool view and was spacious, (ii) the property lies in a very quiet neighbourhood, so although the pool lies next to a road, there is no noise as there is no traffic, (iii) the owner Jonathan is an excellent host that manages to find a good balance between his guests’ privacy and the social angle and (iv) the dinner he cooked for us and the rest of the guests was excellent - it was also a nice experience to meet some of the other guests and hear about their backgrounds and travels. We would definitely recommend!

Elgin Country Lodge se encuentra en Elgin, en la región de Provincia Occidental del Cabo, a 25 km de Reserva natural de Howhoek. Volvería a repetir mi estancia en este alojamiento una y mil veces. Alan hace que te sientas en casa, es un anfitrión maravilloso: atento y con buena conversación. La habitación es súper cómoda, todo está muy limpio y los alrededores son maravillosos. Echaré de menos el desayuno en el jardín :)

Fisherhaven Travellers Lodge está a 14 km de Reserva natural Mount Hebron y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Vanessa y su esposo son unos increíbles propietarios. Nos dieron muy buenas recomendaciones y muy lindas instalaciones.

Saxon Lodge a bed & breakfast in Gansbaai, which is known as the ideal location for shark cage diving and whale watching. Ha sido una estancia excepcional! La habitación era muy espaciosa y con un terraza con vistas al mar. El personal muy atento y amable en todo momento. Nos prepararon desayunos personalizados riquísimos! Muchas gracias por todo.

HighlandsView se encuentra a 6 km de Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve y ofrece alojamiento conjardín, terraza y cocina compartida. This place is an absolute MUST! It has everything you could want. Gorgeous views, truly friendly and hospitable hosts, and a really comfortable and luxurious accommodation! This is the perfect place for a reset, to connect deeply with family or friends, or a space to "switch off" from the distractions of the day. You feel completely separate from the hustle and bustle of city life here. We will recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine getaway. We only stayed one night and had to leave earlier the next morning, so I HIGHLY recommend you book TWO nights, instead of just one. There is a refreshing dam to swim in, beautiful nature reserve walks/hikes, and hammocks to swing in and relax. It kind of has it all. My wife and I stayed here to spend quality time together, so we intentionally spent time mostly ourselves, but if you are looking for making new friendships and having a laugh, there is a communal space where you can enjoy that as well. We highly recommend this place, and will be back again if we are in the area! Don't miss the opportunity to stay here! If you are looking for a luxury outdoors experience to refocus, relax, or have fun this is the place for you!

Honeyrock Cottages se encuentra en Kleinmond, en la región de Provincia Occidental del Cabo, cerca de Playa de Kleinmond y Club de golf de Kleinmond, y ofrece alojamiento con parking privado gratis. Clean, with all you need in self catering. They even supplied us with 2 bags of wood for the braai that is situated outside. Quiet and peaceful. Just what was needed for a good night's rest before hitting the road.

Villa Eike se encuentra a 27 km de Reserva natural de Howhoek y ofrece piscina al aire libre y jardín, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, terraza y wifi gratis. It was clean and neat and bright and shiny. Loved the pool deck area and we were a group of friends so was lovely to spend time together out there. Was comforting to know that the cars were safely parked behind good security.
