My stay at Timber House in Thamel, Kathmandu was absolutely delightful. The property is in a prime spot where everything you need is just a short walk away, yet it still feels peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast is served on the rooftop with a beautiful view, and I highly recommend trying the masala tea suggested by Sanju from the breakfast lounge,it’s truly a must-have! What really stood out was the warmth of the staff, always friendly, kind, and ready to help with anything. The rooms are clean, , spacious, cozy, and neatly maintained, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The overall service and hospitality made me feel right at home.

We had five unforgettable days in this beautiful hotel. We didn't miss anything, we were impressed by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. We would particularly like to highlight the extensive breakfast buffet. Another highlight was the Patio Bar, where we enjoyed the food and the good local beer. We would especially like to thank Sajja, she spoiled us with her perfect service and we learned a lot about Nepal through her.
