They helped us with everything we needed and more. // The bungalows are big, clean and quiet. // The hotel has a nice layout between nature and sea. // It's like a 4 stars boutique hotel but with a paradise island vibe. // The food proposed by the hotel is quite diverse and good. They also do great cocktails and have many other drinks. And if that's not enough you can escape to the other few beach restaurants around. // This side of the beach is really clean. They make efforts to remove every day the few garbage thrown by the sea, which is not the case everywhere on the island. // The beach itself is more isolated than other ones, and they keep it peaceful unlike some other touristic places on the island. // The beach is not deep for about the first 20m, so it's great for kids of various ages. The water is warm. The waves are either calm or wavy depending on the day, so it makes a great variation. // The guests of the hotel and hotels around were quiet and relaxed. Everyone was friendly. Early December there were mostly couples. In addition there were practically no loud Chinese or the usual russian pigs to spoil the day. And for who's interested the area seems also LGBT friendly/tolerant. // The staff organised a great romantic dinner for us on the beach for our anniversary. They also helped us with organising transport and activities around the island. // Some ferry from/to Sianoukhville arrive/depart directly from the pier in front of the hotel, if you want even more a "White Lotus" vibe.

Ένα πραγματικό διαμάντι στο Koh Rong . Αν και μείναμε μόνο μια μέρα( δεν είχε διαθεσιμότητα) μπορώ να πω ότι ήταν ένα πολύ όμορφο ξενοδοχειο στην πιο όμορφη παραλία του νησιού. Όμορφα διακοσμημένα δωμάτια και πολύ φιλικό προσωπικό.

Perfect location, villa itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our every need was met. Overall, it was a perfect escape for relaxation and a unique beachside experience. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the cocktails really good.

To be honest, when the tuktuk took turned from the main road to enter a muddy road, then passed by an over filled trash, and rode along some brownish pond, I was not very optimistic. Then we went up some small worn stairs and passed by some open place with some few old training equipment which finished to kill my motivation. But slowly, I started to relax, appreciate the calm and beauty of the area and everything felt much better. The beach is gorgeous, and you always have access to some sun bed, SUP boards, and canoe. The service at the beach is really good. The staff is extremely helpful and dedicated. The breakfast is really good, with the best croissant I hate since a long time. The food at the restaurant is really high quality, and the room withe outdoor bathroom is enjoyable. I really liked the feeling of the place. More family feeling than industrial resort, very quite and isolated. The beach is really nice, the sand is beautiful. the water very clear and perfectly warm. Just a shame the sea bed is quite boring and if you go for a walk in the "woods" beyond the beach it is sadly packed with plastic and empty bottles. But all in all, I highly recommend the place.

Set in Koh Rong Island, Preah Sihanouk Province region, Tamu Koh Rong is situated 6 km from Sok San Port. We can only warmly recommend the hotel from start to finish. It starts with the nice staff, whether front office manager, housekeeping or the waiters in the restaurant, everyone is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was freshly prepared and very tasty. The additional dishes besides the selection at the buffet were also very good and fresh. We loved the idea of using the tents as rooms. Of course, you should be prepared to encounter a gecko, frog or snail in the bathroom, after all, you are also booking a nature experience here! The cocktails are also very good, happy hour from 4-6 can only be recommended. The white beach was always clean and well maintained, as was the entire resort! If I were to come to Koh Rong again, I would check in here again!

Located on the beach of Koh Rong in the Sihanoukville Province, The Royal Sands Koh Rong offers luxurious villas with a private beach area and stunning views of the gulf of Thailand. All the staff were exceptional. Activities were very well organised etc. Food was excellent. Villas were lovely. Beach beautiful.
