Το Abel Tasman Haven είναι σε Marahau, σε απόσταση 400μ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Marahau Beach και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και βεράντα. Due to the (previous day's windy) weather the ferry from the North Island was delayed by around 4 hours leaving Wellington and arriving in Picton and in addition we were detoured due to a traffic incident enroute and arrived therefore late - after 8pm. Good and forthcoming communication of the circumstances with the landlady, Rose, on alternative ways to pick up the keys to our two chalets upon arrival. Rose ended up welcoming us in person after all. In addition to two charming four legged companions including the 18 year old cat. The two chalets (split between parents and son and daughter) were modern, well presented and provided what we needed. Nice sitting space on the front porch. Parking next to the chalet. Close to the starting point of the path into Abel Tasman NP. Rose was very helpful trying to organize water taxi however the weather next morning was too bad for the water taxi provider to offer any scenic tours. Still, we much appreciated her advise on places to eat and hikes to do in the morning given the weather forecast warning of more rain to come in the afternoon.

Το Gladstone Motel είναι ένα κατάλυμα 5 αστέρων στο Ρίτσμοντ. Οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να απολαύσουν ευρωπαϊκό πρωινό κατόπιν αιτήματος. Clean and Tidy. Reception were very helpful. Recommended us a great place for breakfast and fish and chips.

Το Queen Street Studios βρίσκεται στο Richmond και διαθέτει 2 εστιατόρια. Easy to find. Doable distance from the Picton car ferry and Abel Tasman.. Excellent facilities. Pleasant friendly staff who gave good recommendations for an evening meal and helped us to use the laundry. Off street parking right outside the apartment. Good place to visit the Nelson attractions, particularly the car museum with its cafe and excellent gift shop. Highly recommended.

Excellent facilities including a laundry. Ideally located to explore the North end of South Island and food and drinks available close by. Small town and very quiet at night.

Το The Rocks Chalets βρίσκεται στην Τακάκα, σε απόσταση 10 λεπτών οδικώς από την παραλία, και προσφέρει κλιματιζόμενα δωμάτια με δωρεάν Wi-Fi σε όλους τους χώρους. The Chalet are so gorgeous, we stayed there the night before doing the Abel Tasman walk, and then came back after 3 days in the park, we asked for the sofa bed to be made as we were 2 friends traveling together and after all that walk we were very tired and needed a good night rest. They made the sofa bed with lots of padding and it was so confortable I slept like a baby. I really liked staying there, very private and quiet, lots of space. We could park our car no problem. I will definitely come back as I want to do the heaphy track next year. It' s also perfect location to go to the farewell spit. And 10 minutes drive from the Chalet there are beautiful water source and we also found a walk up to see some grottas. The little village of Takaka is also very cute, lots of cool little shop and cafe. Highly recommend this area and this accomodation.

Το Parkside Motel προσφέρει μοντέρνα καταλύματα και απέχει λιγότερο από 20 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το Richmond Mall και τους κοντινούς αμπελώνες. Διαθέτει επίσης αυλή και εποχική θερμαινόμενη πισίνα. The hosts ( owner / manager) were so welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The grounds looked very inviting as did the poor but we didn’t swim due to the poor weather. We will recommend this Motel to anyone visiting Nelson/ Richmond area.5 stars!

Το Collingwood Park Motel βρίσκεται δίπλα στις εκβολές του ποταμού και απέχει 3 λεπτά με τα πόδια από την παραλία. Προσφέρει ποικιλία καταλυμάτων με θέα στον κήπο και τις εκβολές του ποταμού. only 30mins drive to the Wharariki Beach, and Motueka, easy to make the arrangement for the trip.
