Classic charming pension with the most friendly owners! The private onsen across the street is incredible, I had it to myself every night, and there is an option for breakfast. The room was perfect for two of us, and Papa was so kind to drive us to and from the Myokokogen station and the mountains, and also on some errands which was so kind. It feels like you are stepping into a place that can’t be created, a piece of personality.

Komatsuya Seki Onsen es un alojamiento de 3 estrellas que está en Myoko, a 37 km de Templo Zenkoji, y que tiene salón de uso común, restaurante y bar. Our objectives for the trip were (1) to learn more about Japan beyond Tokyo's business districts and (2) to do some skiing. Objective #2 was met: we had four very good days of skiing, in various conditions. As for objective #1, Komatsuya helped exceed our expectations: David (the owner) kindly drove us around wherever we needed to go, Izumi-san cooked wonderful Japanese food for breakfast and dinner, and Yukiko-san introduced us to the local attractions and helped us with the schedule and reservations. The room was clean and spacious and the onsen was an outstanding way to wrap up our skiing days. But beyond all this, we felt like we gained a new family in Japan. We will remember our stay at Komatsuya very fondly because of David and his team and, should we come back to ski in Japan again, I can't imagine staying anyplace else.

We had a wonderful time at Baco Myoko. Ai, is the most amazing host. She is thoughtful, generous, and made us feel like family. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. She cooked delicious breakfast every morning, cooked us a traditional Japanese dinner on two of our nights there, took us to the fire festival in Nozawa Onsen and went skiing with us a couple of times. The location is perfect - right on the main street with easy access to restaurants, bars and slopes! Bedroom was spacious and we loved the onsens! Highly recommend!

Refre Hotel has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere!! They served a delicious and healthy breakfasts and even served made to order omelets. We enjoyed the onsen, and were very close to the ski rental shop just a few minutes walk away. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming!!

Myoko Ski Lodge, in Akakura Village está en Myoko y dispone de vistas a la montaña y wifi gratis a 34 km de Templo Zenkoji y a 36 km de Estación de Nagano. It’s a happy place! Geoff and Tania ensured that we were well taken care of throughout the stay! They tried their best to pick us up from the train station even though there was a heavy snowfall on the night we arrived. All staffs were kind and friendly. Others who lived at the lodge were also very nice and sociable. I’m really glad to meet new friends from different parts of the world. Started the day with breakfast prepared by the team, then went snowboarding — ask Geoff to recommend ski areas if you’re unsure! Get into the onsen after a whole day of snow then head out to the village (about 7min walk) for dinner after — similarly, if you’re unsure where to eat, ask! Hang out at the common area to chill, chat, watch a movie, play games with affordable beers etc! Maximise your time here if you can! We were really sad to leave and wanted to stay an extra day.. ): till next time! El Akakura Kanko Hotel, junto a la estación de esquí de Akakura Kanko, ofrece un campo de golf, una pista de tenis y un centro de spa. The property is beautiful and well kept with a lovely open air onsen. The views are breathtaking! The breakfast buffet was over the top and the French restaurant was delicious! Complimentary afternoon snacks and drinks was an added bonus! The shuttle to and from the train station was a blessing and the staff was incredibly efficient and kind.

Park Lodge Sekine se encuentra en Myoko, a 31 km de Templo Zenkoji, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y acceso a pie de pista. A couple run the lodge and they couldn’t be nicer! They did everything to make sure we were looked after, comfortable and catered for. They went above and beyond. Super clean and authentic
