It’s worth staying here just for the dinner. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. Very nice place to stay for Armenian wine and for hiking. Would stay again.

Ashot and Gohars place is wonderful! With a very beautiful garden where you can enjoy the mountains around. They - and also their granddaughter Susi - are such a kind people that make your visit an amazing one. Also they offer a very delicious dinner - the best Durma!! The family is so nice and welcoming, you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Everything is made with love and great hospitality. They've cooked me a really nice armenian dinner with a wine sampling of their homemade wines. Value for money is amazing. The location is right in the center of Areni next to the local shops. Walking to the Church is only 15min.

We had by far the most comfortable stay during the entire trip around Armenia. Very clean, everything is new, and all the facilities are available. Breakfast is included! And the dinner, which we took extra on one of the days was also good.

This place is a hidden gem in Armenia - Anna is an amazing host, so easy going and flexible. Our room was huge and comfortable, it’s a little family run guesthouse in the middle of Areni village so has a great local feel. We did a wine tasting, had a huge home cooked dinner and breakfast and loved every bit of it. Thank you for sharing with us!
