Beautifully decorated home in a lovely setting which we enjoyed exploring. We loved the trees, the flowers, and Pierre, the very aloof peacock. Wanda was an interesting hostess who shared much the area’s history with us. We enjoyed the tea, cookies and baking she provided for us when we arrived. Breakfast was beautifully presented on china plates with many choices. We loved hearing about her horses and the competitions she attended. This was a lovely site with a beautiful home and a surrounding property with many unique touches.

All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The resort is well worth your money. Very well set out with a BBQ, playground, spa and gym and also great location. Super close to the shops and pub area!

I was surprised at the size and the general comfort of our room, with many details thoughtfully planned. This was easily one of the most comfortable and pleasant experiences I’ve had within this price range. The bathroom and the room were spacious and pleasant with more beds than we’d anticipated, the motel had a complete gym, a swimming pool, cameras and security, reasonably fast internet, and the room had a spacious fridge and a microwave. As a seasoned traveler traveling with family, I couldn’t have asked for much more than this, although there was more than this (including entertainment). Might be slightly frugal for some, with the fridge not really serving as a minibar namely, but was perfect for me. High marks.
