Lovely room with own entrance. Clean and cosy. Our room was adapted for disabled people, so our sink was low in our bathroom. But it’s great that they have adapted the entrance and bathroom to be wheelchair friendly. The menu for dining was not large, but the food is great! We stayed two nights and both nights we dined at the hotel. Various types of proper English breakfast were offered. Would have been nice to have a “buffet table” for cereals and yogurt though

    We stayed in the John Constable room, a 4 posted bed and views of the Essex countryside, just perfect. We ate in the pub and the food was very good as was the breakfast. Friendly staff and locals and a good range of beers on offer. Ample car parking spaces

    We’ve stayed several times before so it goes without saying we genuinely love it. Lovely views from the bedroom, plenty of parking, warm & welcoming smiles from all the staff & Diana.
