Best among the best is the bread with potato inside made by Nana, amazing taste, can't stop eating it. The hostess Nana is warm hearted with hospitality, the same with her families, our kids and other guests played football, valleyball and water fight with them, quite a lot of fun. This guesthouse was the most satisfying night of my four-day trek from Mestia to Ushguli. Firstly the location, although you can see on the map that it's not in the centre of the village, I think it's not only less crowded than the guesthouses in the middle of the village, it's got a small courtyard and a really nice view. Also, the food here was the best I've had in four days of trekking. Last but not least, the host family is very welcoming, serving us with tea and wine, and their third daughter, anna, is really adorable! I highly recommend this guesthouse.

We had a very nice stay at Elo's Guesthouse! Elo picked us up for free in Iprari and drove us to the guesthouse which is in a nearby village. We also got free transfer back to the trail the day after. The room was nice and so was the food. A big highlight is Elo and his sweet family, very friendly people!

To put it short it was the highlight of the trek to Ushguli and I would strongly recommend this short stretch of 1 kilometre from the hill where most travellers are staying. We instantly made friends with the host Raul and his friend David and spent the whole evening with a nice conversation while having delicious meals. The value for money is outstanding and the house where you stay in is 17th century family establishment. I have no words to thank Raul and planning to come back many times in the future. Thank you 🙏
