The Avalon is my first choice of hotel when visiting my family in Kilkenny. The rooms are really comfortable and tastefully decorated, the inclusion of a coffee machine is very welcome. The hotel has a very homely atmosphere and the staff are wonderful, so kind and friendly. I would really recommend breakfast, a good selection of local produce really well cooked and served. Outstanding! From the location, to the facilities, to the food and the incredible staff our stay was outstanding. The staff was stellar in all ways. The accommodations were clean, beautiful, amazing. Breakfast, lunch and cream teas were excellent. We spent four days and truly did not want to leave!

An absolutely gorgeous little apartment with everything you need. The decor was beautiful and very well organised to make the most of the space. The bed was a so comfortable with a lovely soft throw for added comfort. There's even a patio with table and chairs for your morning coffee in the sunshine! Our dog loved it too. 🐶We would highly recommend the Cosy Nest! Perfect location in a very nice area of Kilkenny.
