The setting was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are a fantastic mixture of beautifully maintained and wild, with woodland walks that are just stunning. The service was impeccable. Every single person was very kind and thoughtful and anticipated our every need. The castle is gorgeous, especially decorated for Christmas! Every meal we ate was also completely delicious. We are already counting the days until we can come back.

Everything! Really beautiful site in a quiet little village. Our hut was right next to the stream so we fell asleep to the sound of the water each night. The hut was lovely and warm and plenty of hot water on demand. Bed was so comfy and all the little furnishings in it just made it feel so homely.the village has a cute little cafe that you can paint mugs and other little ornaments in and has some lovely jewelry to buy in it as well. The small village is great for bird watching too as you're right on the Shannon estuary. We liked it so much we booked an extra night while there as we didn't want to leave! Will definitely stay here again when we have the chance ☺️

The hosts were very welcoming. The place was very clean and our stay was pleasant. The location was perfect and scenery outside was also beautiful. Had a good view of the Pier from the windows. A very warm welcome from the host’s sister who offered me a sandwich after a long journey. The house was superbly located with off road parking, a great view, the room was very quiet and comfortable with a lovely hot shower. Everything was very clean. Delicious self serve breakfast with a choice of things to eat. The host’s sister lives nearby so as a solo female traveller it was nice to know someone was on hand if needed. Also very relaxed around check out time. Really enjoyed my brief stay and it was a short onward trip to the Tarbert ferry
