I had a wonderful time at Lucky's hostel ! The beds are comfortable, the location is right in the heart of the fortress, and the value for money is unbeatable for a single room ! He offered me the services of his brother to go on the Camel Safari, it was a magical moment that I highly recommend ! He was also very accommodating as my train leaves at 7pm and I was able to leave my bag all day, wash up, etc. I even had another chai before I left. In short, everything was perfect in this hostel 😍

Efficient friendly staff, always willing to help. Great view of fort.Very central,easy access to Jaisalmer's tourist We had 2 wonderful weeks discovering all the fascinating places in town. Hasim , in charge of excursions, brought us to the desert where we met authentic nomade gypsies who danced awhile for us. Hasim was always charming and helpful. Jaisalmer is an authentic very friendly town where you can walk without the least worry at any time.

Customer Service was excellent from the point of booking. The manager made contact and made us aware of services the hotel offers. He even met us at the station at 3am when our train was delayed! The hotel is modern, new and very clean. Room was large and well decorated with a large bathroom and good hot water shower. Bed was comfy. Location is great, less than 5 minutes walk to the main gate of the old city. Also has a nice rooftop restaurant. The hotel arranged our camel safari which was excellent. From start to finish we couldn’t fault anything and stayed here twice during our trip. The staff take a pride in the hotel and delivering superb service to guests. As far as I could see, Hotel Shahiraj Jaisalmer is the best choice for a hotel in Jaisalmer.

Everything…. when we arrived at the train Station, the extensive works made the whole area a dusty mess and this extends out into the streets. The approach to the area of Jasmin is the same and we were thinking omg this is going to be tough ( we are well travelled in India ) but … The Jasmin is lovely …the staff waited up until 02:30am for us and showed us straight to beautifully decorated room with the all the lovely lighting set up and the room had been heated perfectly…they didn’t even ask us to check in …..just relax and have a good sleep. In the morning was no different, very relaxed check-in and breakfast was attentive and a perfect choice ( don’t be afraid to go room only and have a la carte breakfast its a good choice and very cheap, our total food bil for three breakfasts and one dinner and one lunch ( for two people ) was £34 The owner is very attentive and proud using family and friends for staff, also recommends a guide for the town heritage walk and he organises desert safari’s ( it’s not usually our thing but we did both and thoroughly enjoyed it. I get the comment someone made re bird droppings upstairs on the terrace but ignore this, it doesn’t spoil anything. If you’re on a budget don’t shy from the basic room, we had that without realising it was his cheapest room and it’s really nice. We looked at the others and all well priced and individual.

Stayed for a week as the managers Ashish and Ali were hospitable and genuine, location couldn't be better, foods are delicious, room prices are among the best (great value for money!), drinking water refill also available. Lovely place, can't wait to go back.

Golden Villa was so great, I will be dreaming to come back! Deepak is amazingly welcoming and knows everything in Jaisalmer. The hotel is located inside the fort and easily accessible (Deepak came to pick me up and helped me with my luggage anyway). I had the best sunset view over the city directly from my little balcony. Not to mention the rooftop giving panoramic views of the fort! I had a marvellous stay, thank you 🌞🐪

Facing Jaisalmer Fort walls, with a small garden at its front, Moustache Jaisalmer is just a 10 minute walk from the fort entrance. The area is quite noisy during the day, as the main parking area for the fort is just over the road, but is very quiet at night. The bed was comfortable enough, the shower was adequate, and the wifi worked OK. This is a good value place to stay in Jaisalmer.

Property is fine but far from the centre. Its in the fort if you really want to stay in fort than this haveli is ok. But if you are driving by car its tough to manage because you have to park your car on fort parking which is far from the property. You have to take auto to reach this place. One positive sided of this property is that you will be nearby the patwo ki haveli, fort and jain temples.
