The host was very helpful. Once I had done the booking he called me and gave me all the details before my arrival. I was traveling solo and he really was accommodating. I even had a scenario where I was stuck with an auto driver and he couldn't understand English, I called the host and he helped me to speak and sort it out. He also arranged cabs which are cheaper than airport cabs. The location is walkable to all places. It's just that some auto drivers are not sure of this place just get some landmarks and it would be fine. The room is nice for one person if you have big luggage. Overall it was a good experience.

I had a great stay at Shiv Shakti Yogpeeth. It is really nicely located up the hill from Tapovan. Surrounded by green, birds sing, the sounfs of river and waterfall rest and joy come by itself. It is also a very nice spot, if you like hiking. The other day I did the Kunjapuri temple trail and it was strenuous but beautiful. The hosts as well as the people I met were all nice. The food is fresh and tasty and facilities are clean. Enjoy :)

It was my first time in India, and choosing the Taj was the best decision I could’ve made. The team made me feel cared for from the first moment—I even asked when to return to see the mountains green, as in May they matched the golden Ganga! As a solo traveler, I was touched by the thoughtful precautions—calls screened by reception, safety tips about monkeys, and a direct contact from security (thank you, Himanshee!). My villa was perfectly placed between yoga and reception, with a stunning Ganges view. Pawan and his team kept it pristine, adding lovely local spa treats and always stocking my favorite tea. Morning tea on the balcony became a cherished ritual. Hi-tea with Helmata-ji was a daily delight—black tea with ginger and cardamom, always divine. I also loved discovering the espresso machine, sipping a cappuccino by Bhagwat while gazing at the Himalayas—pure magic. Staying longer, the Rock Flour team quickly tuned in to my tastes. Special thanks to Dipak Kumar Singh for crafting fresh, healthy off-menu dishes that truly pampered my palate. Everyone’s kindness and smiles made me feel right at home. I came for “me-time,” and the daily yoga, meditation, and sound healing—plus private sessions—were everything I hoped for. Shivani, your guidance turned my stay into a true retreat. You are both a gifted teacher and now, a friend. For adventure, Jitendra’s team offered great experiences. Trekking with Ajay, a passionate mountaineer, was a highlight—sharing local lore, spotting wildlife, and guiding me to a village temple, even across the river by inflatable boat! All in all the stay at Taj Rishikesh was exceptional!

I stayed here for 15 nights. The staff were helpful, well-mannered and very friendly. Property is within a 5-minute walking distance from Laxman Jhula, it’s a 4-storey building and is very clean. Plenty of facilities available, including a gym and swimming pool (although I didn’t use them). The breakfast at its Holy Oven is very tasty, which caters for both Indian and Western tastes. The room service meal delivery is very quick and is available 24-hours. I would not hesitate to come back to this wonderful hotel and its wonderful staff. Thank you for a great stay.

Nice clean hotel walking distance (though bit uphill) from the main road for Lakshman Jhula. Very nice restaurants around serving continental, Indian and Chinese food. Grocery store nearby. Family suite is ideal for families with 2 decent size rooms and 2 separate bathrooms and a small living room. Car parking available and good facilities for drivers. The staff is very courteous, helpful and accommodative. Special mention Mr. Shiv and Mr. Rajesh. Overall a great place to stay.

The hotel is located about 100m from the Paramarth Ashram where the daily arti takes place .The car parking is located about 200m behind the hotel but the hotel staff is helpful and get your luggage the rooms and their washrooms are neat and clean and fresh linen was provided. Food was excellent and a variety is available Indian continental Italian chinese as well as israeli however they need to cater for those with Gluten Allergy which is common these days All in the hotel excels and are a value for money
