I had a wonderful stay with a warm, welcoming family! I was well taken care of throughout my visit. The room was cozy and clean, and the food was absolutely amazing. They provided plenty of information and recommendations on where to go and what to do—from a morning boat tour to kayak and bicycle rentals, plus laundry facilities, everything you need was available. Keep in mind that the homestay is a bit remote, further from the main river, but I found this to be an advantage. It allowed me to rent a kayak and explore the small canals easily. Additionally, the homestay is within walking distance from the train station—if you choose to walk, follow the road near the temple.

This place is really amazing. Deepa is a wonderful person and she and her family made my stay to a wonderful experience. We had a really nice sunset-tour with her father. The food was also very good. The room is big, cozy and clean. It was the best homestay I had so far in India!

We really enjoyed staying in Munroe Nest Homestay. The home is surrounded by a lot of greenery and on the first evening, when we arrived and it was raining we just sat on the porch and looked outside, because it felt so magical. Vishnu and his wife and family are very welcoming and the food they prepared was amazing. They also organized a canoe tour on the canals for us which was a lot of fun and very calming experience. Our room with the porch in and bathroom were all very nice and clean. We would definetely stay here again if we had the chance!
