The pod was warm, cosy and super clean when we arrived, the kitchen/showers and toilets are close to it so it's really convenient. We had our own sleeping bags so we saved money on that. Probably one of the best value for money you can find in Iceland.

Impressive views of Troll Waterfalls and an extensive vinyl collection of over 3000 records are notable features of Fossatún Country Hotel.

The room is spacious and there is a nice area by the window to sit and look out. The chicken soup that was served for dinner was the best chicken soup I've ever had. The staff are super friendly and great to talk to. Just such a lovely hotel.

The cabin was perfect! It was one of our favourite spots of our holiday, just because of the design. The visit from the doggos were also a treat, however they do tend to be a bit pushy and want to come into the units haha. The location would also be perfect to see the lights, however, we had cloudy skies.
