The house has everything a family of four needs, it was warm (despite the cold weather) and easy to find. Most important - turned out, we left a tablet there (I realized it when the owner sent me a photo, but we were already 500 km away from the place) and the owners were able to send it to Latvia, for which I am really grateful.

Room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Convenient shared bathrooms. Great communal areas (shared kitchen, lounge, outdoor porch) – great for prepping lunches and meeting fellow travellers. Location was very private and peaceful.

The apartment was a lot bigger than I had thought, so that came as a great surprise after staying in tiny rooms. It was also well heated and protected us from the cold weather. The shower was great. Everything wad well equipped and clean. The staff was extremely helpful when help was needed. The location was super - was hoping to see the northern lights as it’s the perfect location but the weather was not in our favor :(

We were a group of 3 adults. The cabin was large enough for our party but I admit if you have a larger group it may get a bit tight. It has 2 bedrooms with bunk beds and a mezzanine with 2 extra single beds. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious enough. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need to cook your own meals. The living room was also spacious enough for us. The bathroom was clean but a little bit small (as every other place we stayed in Iceland). The location is also very convenient, right on the face of the ring road so it is a nice base for south exploring. Overall I found this a perfect place to stay.

Nice room on the way to Glacier area, room is simple and comfy. Spacious room for 2, but need to book the dinner in advance in case it's full saw the northern light there, such an amazing stay
