Great spot right by the beach. All facilities, including the bar, restaurant, yoga area and beach loungers were great. Pizza was delicious. Hosts were very helpful and kindly provided a cold coconut drink on arrival.

I had a wonderful stay at Bay Dreams. The breakfast was always fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety to start the day right. The hosts Mr Iqbal and his partner were extremely kind and helpful, always ready with great recommendations and support whenever needed. We originally planned a shorter visit but enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay (several times). The relaxed atmosphere, warm hospitality, and great location made it the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect, and as always, everything started and ended with the people. Catherine and Michel are amazing people, with a huge heart and a big smile. Always ready to help, with good advice and help with the surfboards, renting a bike, renting a tuk-tuk or any other matter that makes an ordinary vacation so amazing. Another thing, the hotel staff, smiling, polite and kind. It is clear that the place is so important to them as if it were their own home. The place is meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail and this, in my experience, is extremely rare in Sri Lanka. The cabins are cozy, air-conditioned and ventilated. The beds are extremely comfortable, the showers are spacious and partially exposed to the sky and the coconut halves scattered around. Hot water 24/7 is simply magic. The pool is simply amazing, pleasant and clean at all times, spotless. The location - on the pottuvil Point strip and within walking distance of the point itself, which is one of the best in Sri Lanka. Even beginners will enjoy this beach. Even those who do not surf and want to relax will greatly enjoy the special and quiet location. The restaurant is run by a local family and serves varied and delicious food at completely reasonable prices and with meticulous service. You can eat in the restaurant or next to the room. In conclusion, my brother and I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and I have no doubt that we will return to this magical place again. We had a great time in Spice Trail! Excellent location and very helpful staff. Himasha LEO showed us some nice places in the area and told us a lot about Arugam Bay & Sri Lanka. If you are going to Arugam Bay, you can't skip this place! The swimming pool is perfect.

Absolutely stunning beach front hotel, pool was great with the kids, the chef was incredible - every dish was super tasty. We loved the outdoor chilling area and bean bags. Rooms were very spacious and stunning views of the ocean. And it was so close to the hustle of Arugam Bay!

Beautiful sea views in a peaceful setting. The place feels private and is run by a lovely family who are so welcoming, kind, and accommodating - they really made us feel at home. The location is ideal if you want to be slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Arugam Bay, while still being just an easy walk into the main area. Would highly recommend!
