Everything is perfect, the location is breathtaking inside the forest . The owners are so friendly and they feel you like you are apart from them. The meals are so delicious and the chef is professional one. The pool is amazing and their is another natural one in the beside river. Rooms are so clean and tidy . It deserves every moment you will live there .

Mona was an incredibly gracious host, and her son is absolutely adorable. She’s also a wonderful cook—every meal was delicious and made with care. The location is truly nestled in the heart of the forest—an idyllic green paradise. That said, if you’re uncomfortable around insects or wildlife, this may not be the right spot for you, and it’s best not to waste Mona’s time. For nature lovers, though, it’s a dream come true. The natural pool is simply breathtaking.

We stayed at Pinchi's last month and the owner was an excellent host, together with his wife and family ! My boyfriend was sick and he assisted us, even organised us to see a local doctor and brought us there ! Home cooked dinner and breakfast with a variety of choices ! The vegetable soup was exactly what we needed before bedtime !! Honestly thank you so much for being so kind with us and also checking on us throughout our trip and even when we got back home !! Ayubowan :)) P.S. really perfect location if you are planning to visit Ambuluwawa tower (like we did on the next morning).

We came across Wanakaset accidentally and fitted it into our already tight schedule, so we could only stay for one night, which is a shame. We would have liked to stay at least one more night to see more of the estate, especially as we had the “Apple room”, which is the big room at the front side of the building with the best view. We very much enjoyed this unusual accommodation, the fantastic views and the fireflies at night. The bed was the most comfy we had in Sri Lanka and despite our concerns we had no problems with mosquitos. Also we had our own (but not ensuite) bathroom, which we did not expect. Maybe because Wanakaset was not fully booked.

Absolutely wonderful to stay here. After a long flight from The Netherlands we wanted to get out of colombo and went straight here. Very nice breakfast, lunch and dinner. Keep in mind that you're off the main road and are not close to any shop. Relaxation is key here. Staff is very friendly and will happily tell you about their location, tea plantations they own and manage, and also the food! 😁
