Good environment At night you can various animals sound because this is thick ungle area. Early morning you can vast typeof birds and their songs specially peacock. We had such a wonderful time at Art Yala! The house is modern, spotless, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The family made us feel right at home, and the dinner they prepared was one of the best we had during our trip. The rooms — especially the bathrooms — were spacious and beautifully designed. Great accommodation in Tissa! The rooms are spacious and clean, and have a balcony with a beautiful view to rice fields. The pool is really nice. Great value for money. The owners helped organize the full day safari. Really great tour (we saw 2 leopards) with a guide that doesn’t follow the crowds and truly explores the park. The location is not super close to centre but they have bicycles we can use (just a 20min bike ride)

The host was wonderful! She welcomed us with tea and fresh pineapple juice, and even offered us a free tour of the lake, where we got to see a variety of animals. She also organized an amazing safari for us — many thanks to her friend, the driver, who gave us a truly wow experience! Highly recommended!

We had the best stay at Black Panther! Nalin is the kindest person ever and so helpful with everything! He took us around and spotted some super nice birds. He was really knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about them. He also helped with organizing a safari to Yala where we had a great time :) Also the rest of the family is so nice and the dinner we had was absolutely delicious, one of the best we had so far! The rooms are further really spacious and clean, felt really comfortable! We will definitely come back!

Prasad was the nicest host we've had in Sri Lanka so far (and everyone in Sri Lanka has been very nice). Him and his family made us dinner at their place, and he can also arrange a safari around Lunugamvehera National Park (we had already arranged it). The place is just off the main road where the bus stop is, but secluded enough that all you hear are birds and insects. There's a nice garden outside and a creek where some monkeys were chilling during the day. The cabin had AC and fridge and it was very comfortable overall.
