The house is absolutely gorgeous, and we only regretted to not stay longer! The staff was incredible caring and made us feel like at home from the very first second. We loved our stay at Aqua Dunhinda Nature Retreat! The service was excellent, and we are grateful to the stuff, and especially the manager Harry, for their help, organising a taxi for us and giving us tasty breakfast to go when we checked out early. Our chalet and the view from it on the longest river in Sri Lanka were amazing! The feel is like you live in the jungle, but in the comfortable accommodation and you could hear the flow of the river all the time. There is a family of monkeys in the area, so we could see them around, which also adds some good memories for the trip. There are many trails, where we could go for a walk, and a swimming pool with a nice view as well. We had one dinner there and the food was delicious. Overall, we enjoyed staying at this hotel very much and we will be happy to come back again!
