The rooftop terrace was absolutely gorgeous, and comfortable. The owner was friendly and kind. He gave me a couple things to help me when I had altitude sickness. This place was really great for the price.

The hosts were very kind, the room was super comfortable and the food was so good. Would really recommend this place!!!

Saíd, our fabulous host, organised a driver to & from the airport. Everything went smoothly, even though we were later than expected on arrival. We were welcomed into Saíd's home and looked after by the whole family with home cooked meals and mint tea. Our room had a magnificent view of the mountains and was very comfortable with it's own en suite. There is a sitting room with television (streaming everything in every language) and a rooftop terrace. You can choose to dine inside or out, both with mountain views. Our time with Saíd & family was memorable and we feel privileged to have experienced some of the Berber culture in our 10 days. Saíd is knowledgeable about the hikes in the area having previously been a guide. If you are in need of a guide whilst here he is happy to arrange this also. I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful Ríad. A great place to base yourself whilst in the Atlas mountains.

All staff, especially Ibrahim was very kind and helpful. He even gave hiking sticks to us, prepared 2 delicious home type dinners. Thank You Ibrahim!

Hassan and his family went above and beyond to welcome us into the guesthouse. Beautiful rooms and accomodation in perfect location a short walk from Imlil. The location is tranquil with beautiful views over the valley. Hassans hospitality was endless with some of the best food we had in Morrocco along beautiful breakfast on the rooftop. This place is a gem!

Very nice hotel. We enjoyed a stay here. It can be tricky to find it, but the reception is in another hotel (just go with google maps) and from there the stuff will guide you. Property has a very nice pool, which is clean, such as a rooms. Breakfast was traditional morrocan - very tasty. Owner is really very helpful and nice. And the views from terrace! Thank you.

Our stay at Tonaroz House was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea and felt instantly at home. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and caring, ensuring that we were comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay. The location is perfect, offering peaceful surroundings and breathtaking scenery, making it an ideal base for hiking and exploring the Atlas Mountains. The atmosphere was calm and authentic, far removed from anything touristy, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in the beauty of the region. The food was excellent—dinner was delicious and reasonably priced, while breakfast was fresh, hearty, and the perfect way to start the day. Every meal felt homemade with love. One of the true highlights for us was the resident cats, Gaga and Sofinia. They were so friendly and affectionate, making the stay even more special. Even though the evenings were chilly, we were provided with plenty of blankets, and it actually added to the charm of the experience. The entire place was spotlessly clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained—we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Between my partner and I, we’ve stayed in countless hotels and accommodations around the world, and we can honestly say that Tonaroz House is one of the best places we’ve ever experienced. If you’re looking for authentic Berber hospitality, stunning landscapes, and a peaceful retreat, this is the place. We wholeheartedly recommend it and would return in a heartbeat! 10/10 – an absolutely magical stay. 🏔️✨

Beautiful views, comfortable room, really warm and nice shower. The food was also amazing and the staff was so helpful for the many requests we had!
