Host was really friendly and gave us recommendations on things to do in Tekapo. They also warned us of the weather conditions before we drove out to Mount cook, which was really sweet of them. Best part of the place is that it is spotless and clean. Cozy little place that we called home for 3 nights.

Stunning view over looking at the Lake Tekapo and the mountains. Bed was soft and comfortable. The heat pump is right above the bed so you stay warm all evening. Off street parking is available behind the building.

Everything. The welcome staff ( Ryan ) at reception were fantastic. Our room was comfortable & loved our view . Bonus having restaurant on site especially when it snowed & free car parking .

The location was pretty much unbeatable! Right across the lake, the views were nice. We travelled with a car, so the parking lots were right outside the room building.

Instructions were clear, providing for convenient and seamless check-in. Unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped kitchen (toaster, microwave and cooking hob), clearly designated parking spot / ample space for street parking. Good location in a quiet neighborhood, short drive into town and Tekapo Lake. Had a really comfortable stay.

The Godley was very conveniently located in the heart of Lake Tekapo and near the eateries. The beds were extra warm which we appreciated a lot because of the winter. Having the bench outdoors and a parking lot right infront of our room was also a bonus. All in all, though the property is slightly older than others, we still had a great stay!

Really good accommodation with free parking nearby. The breakfast is served in the Jackrabbit cafe, and it is organized in a way that you can order everything from the menu for free (I guess, if you are not greedy, but I did not want to check it). Even if you do not have breakfast included in your booking, you still can have 10% discount in the cafe just showing your hotel card cover.
