Good and quiet location in a palm garden closed to the ancient city and new city. (walking a few minutes only). Very friendly and reactive staff. Have been upgraded to use the apartment instead of the room.

Everything was amazing!!! The staff were extremly friendly and helpful, especially Fatma and the waitress at dinner. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were also delicious. It is a nice hotel and the staff made our stay really wonderful.

It’s better than the pictures. The view is that incredible and there’s entrance to the balcony from both the bedroom & living room. You’re also on the doorstep of one villages walking trial. He has big fluffy blankets, comfortable chairs, and a library of interesting books on Omani forts, geology, and wadis. You could spend a winter here easily. The kitchen is set up in a logical way and is easy to work in. Ahmed himself is very kind and sent his brother to rescue me when I had car trouble on the mountain. A next door neighbor gave me a tour of his rose water distillery. Good vibes in the whole town. Basically, you couldn’t ask for better.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Şaqrah, the suwgra-Al-Jabal Al-Akdar is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden.

Located in a small mountain village, it is recommended for active hikers.There is a well-maintained nature trail, with a presentation of local farming, a walk to a lookout or a... - Stunning panorama once you get up to the village. (4x4 off-road vehicle required, or you can take a local lift from the end of the tarmac road) - A friendly and cooperative welcome. Dinner and breakfast are all-you-can-eat buffet, varied and delicious. More than you would expect in a small local village. - In the evening we enjoyed the view and dinner from a very cosy heated terrace. - The room was fair, clean and tidy. In keeping with local tradition, there is no glazing in the windows, but there are blackout blinds and electric heating.

The resort is built on a plateau next to a cliff , the views are breathtaking, the gardens is full of olive trees, pomegranates, and other fruit bearing trees, also full of roses and flowers. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, the staff were very friendly and attentive, we took the 3 villages cultural hike, it was ammaaazzziiinnnggg , our guide Mr Hasan was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and well informed, speaks excellent English, knows the area extremely well , the hike was the highlight of our stay , highly recommended .
