The staff are what made it for us, they were so kind and lovely. We also enjoyed the traditional breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and had everything we needed.

The hostel is situated in a perfect location in the village center. Situated a 80 meters from the main road, so very quiet. Supermarket, bakery, Best Coffee and the company for booking rafting and other tours are at walking distance. In the morning you can hike opposite of the road to the nature reserve for birdwatching; and there are so many species of birds! In the afternoon you can walk to the river and have a swim or dip in to it to cool off. I booked a private room with private bathroom and the rooms are very big, so you can stay with 4 persons. The hostel has a lovely view, expect Ara's and many multicolored birds in the backyard snacking from the banana's. The owner Maria is so warm and friendly, and there are 2 lovely dogs who want to be friends with you as soon as you arrive. The facilities in the kitchen are very good. Everything is super clean and tidy, value for money is superb!

Το Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm and Inn βρίσκεται στην Heredia, σε απόσταση 10χλμ. από το Διεθνές Αεροδρόμιο Juan Santamaria. This place was amazing. The workers were very friendly and attentive, and the resort itself is beautiful. They also do an amazing job with the landscaping, so you feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle. The food was great and we loved the coffee hour and banana bread! We also did the coffee farm tour, which was amazing! The tour guide was so knowledgeable and talked a lot about their sustainable farming practices.

Το Casa del Cafe-Familiar είναι σε Ερέδια, σε απόσταση 40 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Εθνικό Πάρκο Poas και διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και βεράντα. It’s a beautiful old house set in pretty gardens, with lots of birds flitting about. The family who run it were very kind and made us delicious breakfasts.

It is a bit chilly up in the mountains but there is a fireplace so you can warm it up

Το Eco Guest House- Sarapiquí 2 έχει θέα στο βουνό και προσφέρει βεράντα και ηλεκτρικό βραστήρα. Το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος La Paz Waterfall Gardens είναι περίπου 35 χλμ μακριά. Wendy was really helpful, lots of advice and organised a great white water rafting trip. Extra for breakfast was worth it!

Το Mirador Prendas έχει κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, βεράντα και μπαρ, στον προορισμό Sarapiqui. The staff was very welcoming and always happy to help. The location is incredible, in the middle of the tree. The owner spent the evening talking to us and was very warm. The hotel is huge and the work done to build it is incredible - it truly is a piece of art.
