Check-in was easy, the bed was comfortable, and the location excellent. I really appreciated the drawer under the bed for safely storing my belongings. The entire place was cleaned daily. The space is small, but in a cozy, intimate way that naturally encourages connection with the other guests.

I loved this apartment and with I could have stayed longer! The hosts are so friendly and helpful, arranging everything for me and even taking the time to walk me to the colectivo station so I could get a cheaper ride back to the airport than possible with a taxi. The apartment itself has everything you need and there is a great grocery store around the corner, plus countless good restaurants and coffee shops in east walking distance. You get all the benefit of Santa Maria’s amenities without feeling cloistered in a resort.

We were staying at Lafayette Alojamentos for a few days, and really enjoyed our stay there! The place really felt like a home for us: there was really clean, breakfasts were amazing, and the staff was really warm and kind. Special thanks to Candida (the hostess), who helped us to plan our holiday to be one of a kind!

Location was brilliant, loved the local area, much better than the soulless hotel area! Margarite kept the place spotless and the transport for the airport - perfect. Suzanne was very helpful. We had an amazing experience at Bia D’Olaf on Sal Island. The apartment was spotless, modern, and very comfortable — everything looked new and perfectly maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always with a smile and ready to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk from the beach and the main areas of Santa Maria, yet peaceful and relaxing. A special bonus is the wonderful bakery and café downstairs, owned by the same family. Their pastries, coffee, and breakfasts are simply delicious — the perfect way to start the day! Everything was truly five stars — cleanliness, comfort, hospitality, and the little details that make a big difference. We will definitely come back and recommend Bia D’Olaf to anyone visiting Sal Island!

Super friendly staff and very helpful support by Dory for clarifying important details beforehand and organizing individual activities and transfers. Great location, 2 min walk from the most beautiful beach on Sal. Would highly recommend for an individual stay on Sal, instead of resort holidays.
