The facility was nicely finished - a small house-hotel with new finishings completed at a good standard. The staff were very friendly. They recommended a local restaurant and were welcoming of our dog. They were also happy to reconfigure the beds to meet our needs. The room was warm, and the beds were very comfortable. There was a small kitchen area equipped with a kettle, microwave, and sink. The location was only a block from the edge of town and fields that looked out across a lake and some mountains. Also within walking distance is the memorial to the Armenian genocide (worth the short walk).

The apartment is very clean and has a washing machine, iron, drying rack, large fridge, cooking utensils, etc. There is also a bidet in the bathroom. The apartment has no AC, but with the balconies and large windows—and the village’s nice weather—I didn’t need it.

Entorno: de frente a las montañas, rodeado de naturaleza… por la noche, cuando todo se apaga empieza lo mejor: las estrellas (menuda maravilla). Desayuno: el mejor de todo nuestro viaje y también podríamos haber cenado (importante saberlo) TODO fue impresionante. Se merece el 10

Hotel Sunny se encuentra en Akhaltsikhe y dispone de jardín. El hostal o pensión también ofrece wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. We stayed 3 nights at the guesthouse and enjoyed every minute. The host family is super lovely, very welcoming and caring. We even got a nice breakfast and a ride to the border (very reasonable price). The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed and even more (a washing machine!). The bed was super comfy and the terrace nice to sit in the sun. The location is at the edge of the town (very quiet at night time ) yet only a few minutes walk away to the fortress and town centre. We'd definitely can recommend this sunny guest house!

Lo mejor fue nuestra anfitriona, una mujer muy amable y animada que se esforzaba por que todo estuviera bien. Nos indicó como llegar a Vardzia y también nos regaló una cerveza para tomar en la habitación!

The host met us personally and kindly offered to help with our luggage. It was great that we could park our car freely. The apartment had everything we needed, and it was comfortable even for four people. The WiFi was stable, which was very important for us. We left the car and walked to the city center in about 15–20 minutes.
