I got sick during our jungle trek and had to get out through a fairly dodgy route and the staff all came together to help me get out. The hotel booked me a different hotel as the jungle guide was booked for the night I was on a trek and brought me tea and medication to help. The next day, they transferred me back to the hotel. All of the employees are absolutely lovely and make the stay well worth it!

The resort is made with love for detail, the lights in the evening are looking so beautiful. The restaurant/bar looks also wonderful and the food is tasty. The staff is really helpful and kind. They organized everything for us, such as a dolphin tour, scooter, snorkeling equipment, transfer and so on.

We found LOBLUS by chance and it was wonderful. The place is very cosy, the rooms very clean, good value for money, but the most important and the most remarkable is DILAH. She is the nicest, kindest and most dedicated person we have met in Indonesia. If you have a couple of days or more, she will make your experience as rewarding as possible. She will get you all the food and fruit you want for breakfast, and even if you want to see crocodiles, she will wait with you for 3 or 4 hours until they show up! Hahaha I would definitely recommend her a million times. If you want to do a tour in Sumatra, I recommend you to talk to her and spend at least one day there. She deserves everything and more. I very much enjoyed my stay here. I spent 2 nights before my jungle trek and 1 night after. I booked the 2 day/1 night jungle trek with them as well. I actually think that is the only way you can stay at their guesthouse, so they ensure that their trekking clients have accommodation. Communication with the manager, Dedycool was faultless, from the time i made my initial inquiry to when the driver picked me up at the airport. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've had in 5 months of travel, and the AC did the job. The staff could not have been more welcoming, both upon arrival and every time I came for a meal or returned from an outing. The location outside of the village ensured a peaceful nights sleep. I enjoyed the 30 minute walk to the center, allowing me to see people going about their daily lives. The jungle trek was phenomenal in every way. Both guides, Edwin and Janet, were professional and got excited when we saw orangutans (we saw 7). The food both at the guesthouse and on the trek was very tasty. The trekking was challenging but not overly so. It was fun scrambling up hillsides using vines and roots as foot and hand holds. The camping was much more comfortable than I expected. The camping mats were thick, and the lightweight sleeping bag was just right for the temperature. The rafting back to the village was super fun and a great way to end the 2 days in the jungle. I'm very pleased with my decision to book through Sumatra Orangutans Treks.

Το JUNGLE LIFE GUEST HOUSE - Trekking & Transport Only Book With Us, το οποίο βρίσκεται μπροστά στη θάλασσα σε Bukit Lawang, έχει μπαρ. For our family, Bukit Lawang was absolutely one of the best places best have ever been. The stay at Jungle Life Guesthouse was superb. We ended up staying 2 weeks, so we got a much fuller cultural experience getting to know the owners. Alek is very friendly and enthusiastic, and Nabil was very attentive and helpful. They were great organizers of our 2-day jungle trek. (Which can be physically challenging, but if our nearly 60 year old mom can do it, so can you!) They were hosts who went out of their way for us on multiple occasions. We loved our experience at jungle life guest house and hope to be back.
