There is always a Masai very attentive to checking our safety due to the presence of animals, his name is Moses and I thank him from the heart. The staff and the food were excellent, the rooms and tents beautiful, the cleanliness impeccable. The two owners are exquisite people, Abdul assisted me from home a lot, but he was not present at the time of my stay, he had warned me there was the other owner who was an excellent host! I hurt myself during a safari and he helped me immediately by giving me an ointment against the pain that he also gave me and providing information on the closest clinic to my drivers. He is a National Geographic photographer and the reseption is a jewel full of his wonderful photos. This place is spectacular for where it is located, it is like sleeping inside the park, for the excellent work that the owners and staff do every day (including the Masai), and it has very honest prices. For the location and the place they could be very expensive and instead with their honesty in the prices they also allow less wealthy people to enjoy that atmosphere that my group and I will never forget. I conclude by adding a value, nothing artificial, nothing that clashes with the environment, there are places with a truly luxurious pomp that are not in line with the Savannah and the location, they take away all the magic, the Talek No, is a wonderful ecolodge, where the love and respect for animals can also be read in the signs hanging on the wall: Do you love animals? We had an amazing stay at Mara Hilltop – truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! The view was breathtaking, and the tent was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. Special thanks to Chef Allan for the delicious meals, and to Lucia and Steve who were always so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our game drives were unforgettable with Ken, an excellent driver who made sure we saw the Big 5! In Nairobi, John was also a great driver who took care of us very well. One of the highlights of our trip was the nature walk with Dickson – he was such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, making it an incredible experience. A huge thank you to NJ, a very patient owner who always responded to all my queries, and to Nick, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort, even checking in with us on our way home. Everything was so wonderful that we ended up extending our stay. We highly recommend Mara Hilltop Camp to anyone visiting the Masai Mara – you will not be disappointed!

I really appreciated how friendly and helpful Anne was...she made checking in a breeze and gave great local tips. The house was spotless and cozy, with one comfortable bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and a kitchenette stocked with everything I needed. It sits down a quiet lane but is just a one-minute walk from a small supermarket, and only a five-to-ten-minute drive into Narok town. Just a heads-up: there’s no breakfast provided, so if you want something in the morning you’ll need to pick up supplies or head into town.
