This was one of the most special places I've ever stayed in. It's a little paradise. Nothing to do but kayak swim eat and catch sunsets. The staff are outstanding, and everything was super organized and thought out. Swimming in Tatai river was amazing and they're kayaks you can take for free. The rooms are beautiful and even though there's no air-conditioning there are many high tech fans to make up for it. The free firefly tour was also very special. The hotel has an ethos to support the local community and protect the environment. It was worth traveling to this part of Cambodia to be here.

The room is brand new, with good air-con, wifi and a comfy bed, while Nesat village has a chill backpacker vibe and a rustic, palm-lined beach a few Ks down the road.

The entire experience felt thoughtfully designed, from the peaceful setting to the well-run and genuinely enjoyable excursions. We did the long trek and Mangroves tour, both of which included beautiful landscapes, great pacing and lots of interesting insights along the way. The surrounding nature is incredible, we even saw an owl on our first night! The staff also deserve a special mention as Gee and Pirom are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help. The food was another highlight - delicious and generous portions. I’d definitely recommend Rainbow Lodge to anyone looking to explore this part of Cambodia. You can play billiards at the hostel. Great location at the entrance to Phumi Barang. We stayed in the iglu which was great. very comfortable bed and nice clean room. The food at Done Right is excellent!!! I recommend the eggs Benedict in particular.
