The place Coastal Villa in Kallady, Batticaloa turned out to be one of the most beautiful places we've been in Sri Lanka. Very calm and outstanding clean. Not only the room and the atmosphere but especially the householder Jutha and his family were taking the best care of everything I needed. For us it was a real pleasure to stay there on our Journey. If you have the chance to stay there, just do it, nobody would regret. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were amazing and huge by the way. I highly recommend Coastal Villa is suitable for guests. You have another beach passikuda 1km far, for l'ESS rhan one dollar yiu can go by tuk yuk or by walk of not hot, and it is calm et very popular.

Very nice homestay place, there are several rooms, shared living room, shared open air dinner place and big secured parking. Owners family is very nice and friendly it was very nice to speak with. Our room was comfortable, bed was comfortable too, bathroom was big and clean(everything was perfectly clean). Very good air condition in the room. And good sound isolation. We sleept very well here. We ordered dinner and breakfast here - all was tasty.

Everything is made with great taste! For privacy I would recommend garden suites and for amazing beach view - beachfront suites. GM Umberto does a lot to add some extras to already awesome property, he is attentive to all your needs and comments.

The pool was absolutely amazing especially as it's not a great place to swim in the sea on this particular part of the beach due to corals shallow water. If you want to have a good swim you need to walk further up the beach. but the pool was so great I didn't care! The setting is fabulous. I loved the crows in the palm trees and the nature. The room was huge and extremely comfortable. The pillows fabulous and the mattress and everything really comfortable. I loved that they had the option of a ceiling fan. I did look at the other hotels on a walk and I'm glad I picked this one ! The laundry service was fantastic and managed to get a stain out of a really badly stained shirt. Miracle workers! The staff are very kind and helpful and will go out of their way to make things nice.

The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. The hotel welcomes all new guests with flower necklaces and cool fruit drinks. The breakfast buffet options are numerous. We ordered a la carte lunch & dinner, and the food was always exceptional. (Note, the first night we wanted something that they didn’t have but they ordered it for the second night.) The room was ok, but all rooms come with a comfortable balcony to make up for what the room lacks. Also, the bathroom is about the same size as the room. The beach and the ocean are by far the main reason to come here. The warm ocean water is unparalleled and the hotel staff do a wonderful job keeping their section of the beach clean. The pool area is also nice, but we came for the beach and spent most of our time there. The kid space is lacking, but that’s ok as long as you aren’t there when it rains. Lastly, all the staff we encountered were professional. They helped arrange our departure taxi which actually was rather reasonably priced; meaning same price everyone seems to charge tourists 200 rupees per kilometer (rather than what locals pay which is like 120-150). Overall, I highly recommend staying here.

Kumu looked after us perfectly. We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka with loads of fruit and she prepared a superb rice and curry for dinner. Holiday Beach Guesthouse is 5 minutes walking from the beach, which is great and where there are only few people. The property is tidy and the garden peaceful. Our villa was well maintained and comfortable. We hope to come back!
