And I still can't get enough of the homemade ice tea.

THE place to stay especially for birdwatchers with birds easily seen from a three way viewing area above the restaurant as well as outside the rooms and gardens. The manager makes the place, always smiling and attentive to every detail making sure everyone’s stay is the best. You can walk to the world heritage site park and the birding jeep tours pick you up at the gate with your packed breakfast. Meals were excellent and the quality well known to others with people seeking out their restaurant for the great the great food. I highly recommend it. I stayed 6 nights and would recommend 3 or 4 to enjoy the area.

Pikiri is a kind and warm person who made our stay so lovely, he made sure the food was prepared according to our dietary requirements and also helped us find a quick and cheap way to Colombo after our flight was rescheduled.

The owner can arrange a guide for the birding tour. We loved the tour with the guide.
