Unassuming facade, but once inside, I was pleasantly surprised that it's bright, clean and organized. Staff were friendly and helpful. Inside slippers were provided (which is a nice Asian touch),while shoes are kept in a shoebox locker for safety. There's a common room and free coffee. Bunkbeds are spacious that each has a mini cabinet and a drawer,even a trash bin. Bed and pillow are comfortable. I wish the light was a bit brighter though for those wanting to read. Blinds are installed per bed for privacy. Now this is a hostel that is actually at par with ones I have stayed at in Europe: clean, comfortable and safe. Of course being a shared dorm one would expect some noise from fellow travellers but everyone was considerate with their voices and movements, I was able to nap before checking out early to catch my flight. I hope they can expand because this is a very nice place to stay at for those in layover, and it's budget friendly too. You can find a convenience store, bar/resto,spa and laundry on the ground floor. It's proximity to the airport is also a plus. I'm impressed. Will definitely be back.

Το Public House Hostel είναι σε Pusok, σε απόσταση 7,7 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος SM City Cebu και διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi and δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Love this hostel- It didn't really feel like a hostel but more like a hidden gem accommodation with spa. Very clean, great staff, safe and comfortable bed. Also one of the best massage I had- very professional staff. I initially booked for 1 night as it was very close to the airport and I stayed for 2 nights as my flight to Siargao got cancelled mid-air, so I was able to return and tried my luck the next morning to get a seat on the plane on day 3 ( the proximity to the airport did make this possible for me although I had to go to the airport twice in the morning) can access the airport by using their transportation service or get a grab.

I can strongly reccomend this accommodation and host as a to go place when looking for an overnight in Lapu Lapu! Efleda is a highly friendly and guest focused host, very easy to contact and she will answer all your questions. The apartment is în very good shape, everything works very well and a morning coffee în the balcony is more than a good idea. The airport is 5 minutes by car and for backpackers or travelers on a lower budget there are also local transportation 10 minutes by car away (save savemore stop). There you will find also the closest bigger supermarket and atms and other budget friendly delights. Laundry and a Filipino restaurant are at the ground floor. They have been very proactive with e.g. refilling water or cleaning finished dished - Verx exclusive feeling as restaurants are not overly crowded or at the pool / beach there is enough space for privacy - Massage at pool was also a very nice experience - People at the reception went the extra mile with every request we have made.

Everything was spotless, like new, and full of thoughtful details. A perfect space for a couple and ideal for getting work done. The internet and desk worked flawlessly. They were also very attentive to anything we might need.
