Best of all, the beautiful lake and nature surrounding the area are right there for peaceful morning walks and nature escapes. ​ ​The facilities offered here elevate the stay significantly. The value is outstanding, largely due to the inclusion of a delicious free breakfast and constant access to free, purified drinking water. These thoughtful touches saved us time and money daily. The common areas and rooms were also spotlessly clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable and hassle-free stay. ​What truly sets this place apart is the family atmosphere. It is genuinely family-run, and the owners are so warm and welcoming. Their cute 5-year-old daughter adds a lovely touch of home life; she’s sweet and playful but completely non-intrusive. ​If you are looking for a place that combines tranquility, amazing convenience, and warm hospitality, look no further. Highly, highly recommended!

The couple who own the hotel are such nice and friendly people. Always welcoming me with a smile and even offered me 2 additional bottles of water as I returned back one day which was an incredibly nice gesture. Location was great, not too far from the central area, it was quiet and hidden in a perfect little road. The price was excellent, would recommend to anyone.

I have never experienced hospitality like at May’s House. If you are a solo traveler, you don’t feel alone anymore. The couple that runs the House, make you feel like one of their own. Family dinners every other night, make sure you don’t miss out on it! I had a single room, perfect, private bathroom. Great location, about 10min walk from the center.

We arrived early at 7am with no sleep from our overnight bus, but the host kindly had a room ready for us for an early check in. The area was quiet as its a little further from the city centre, the room was clean and the view from the balcony was lovely. Would reccomend!!
